How To Draw Homer Simpson
How To Draw Homer Simpson by Evan Burse. Today I'm Gonna Show You How To Draw Homer Simpson. Step-by-Step Guide on How to draw Homer Simpson: Draw a circle then we're going to draw a smaller circl below & then add two lines on the side & one below kind of curved. Next add two lines for the lower part of his head & neck area. Place in the other circle. This will represent his 2nd eye. And now for his nose; it's kind of like a pickle shape it's going off to the side but it doesn't go past the eyes. Now we draw his brow area. Draw in his center line. That'll help you out later on as you're constructing his head. And for his ear, it goes just below the eye line. Draw a simple curved letter "T". His hair on the side is just a letter "M". And for his mouth you want to measure about two & a half sizes of his nose going down. And that will determine how far the mouth is from the nose. Bring his beard around and draw his lower lip. Extend his neck down further. For his collar, just draw a "V". Make sure you draw a curve all the way around his neck and then go ahead & connect all the lines. Clean up the eye right here. After you put the guide line down the center of his eye balls then you're going to put his pupil on that guide line. Erase a little bit more construction lines and clean it up. The voice of Homer Simpson, Dan Castellaneta, appeared on Breakfast to talk about his 20 years voicing one of the world's best-loved cartoon characters, and where the "D'oh!" first came from. I've not yet seen the Simpsons Movie, but the clips I've seen, such as 'Spiderpig' and Homer whipping the huskies really aren't funny and shows proof that creator Matt Groening ran out of ideas about 8 or 9 years ago. Note that I had to clip this slightly so it would fit on Youtube, losing the clips of the film, and note also that the bit about truffles was to do with the next item, hence "Truffles (cue Dermot)". Update: March 2008: I have now seen the film and it does indeed suck - review here: dvdfever.co.uk

Galeotto fu il computer e chi lo usò [Episodio 12x6] Homer compra un computer ed apre un sito internet in cui scrive pettegolezzi e speculazioni sentite in giro, sotto lo pseudonimo di "Mr. X". Le sue notizie, rivelatesi vere fanno ottenere a Mr. X il premio Pulitzer, ma per ottenerlo Homer è costretto a rivelare la propria identità, rendendo successivamente impossibile reperire nuove notizie per il sito, che quindi comincia ad inventare. Una delle sue notizie inventate rivela che tramite il vaccino il governo stia dominando le menti della popolazione. Per tale notizia Homer viene rapito da una misteriosa organizzazione che lo tiene segregato, insieme ad altri individui scomodi in un posto chiamato semplicemente "l'isola", mentre a casa viene sostituito da un sosia. Sull'isola conosce Numero 6, che si trova lì per aver inventato il sacchetto senza fondo delle noccioline, e che mostra a Homer la barca che è riuscito a costruirsi, fatta con rotoli di carta igienica e forchette di plastica: Homer se ne impossessa e tenta la fuga, riuscendo a tornare a casa dalla sua famiglia, ma a questo punto viene nuovamente sedato e riportato sull'isola insieme alla sua famiglia.

Mil V-12/Mi-12 NATO Code: Homer
The Soviet made Mil V-12 (Also referred to as the Mi-12, NATO reporting name "Homer") is the largest helicopter ever built. The name "Mi-12" would have been the name for the production helicopter. Since the V-12 never went into production and only two prototypes were built, the name "Mi-12" was never adopted. The V-12 features the only two-rotor transverse scheme ever built by Mil eliminating the need for a tail rotor. The twin engines were taken together with the rotors from the Mil Mi-6 and duplicated on the V-12. Being the first time used by Mil, the twin rotos transvers scheme was not new. It was first seen in the Focke-Wulf Fw 61 the first fully controlable helicopter from 1936. Later other helicopter used the scheme such as the Focke Achgelis Fa 223 Drache from 1940. The Soviet Kamov OKB built an experimental aircraft with the same scheme in 1958, Kamov Ka-22 Vintokryl . This aircraft had also the combined wing/rotor arrangement later used on the Mil V-12.
