As Portnoy stated on his official fan page, this was a completely spontaneous tribute he decided to make to Dio; it shouldn't be judged for his skill in playing bass or in singing Dio's song.. obviously this wasn't the meaning of doing it. Dio - Invisible - (HD) Holy Diver Live 2006
From the HD version of the Holy Diver Live concert in 2006. It really is an enjoyable show if you were a big fan of the '83 album Holy Diver, and want to re-live that. The entire show sounds like it is tuned-down a step, probably to accomodate Dio's age and declining health at the time. But he still sounds great and the great fill-in jobs (Rudy Sarzo returns!) make it work quite well. It was recently released on Blu-Ray (10/2010) - so pick it up if you want to see the entire show, where he plays the full Holy Diver album and a few Rainbow/Elf/Sabbath songs as well, bookmarked by the album's track list.
