"Sharky" with Monster Energy's Mark Healey
It's no secret that Mark Healey is a thrill seeker. He paddles into and gets barreled on 25-foot waves. He skydives. He has voluntarily, on an island off the coast of Mexico, ridden great white sharks — just grabbed onto their dorsal fins and got towed. So with all of these erratic behaviors, it's easy for us to label Mark as foolish. Dangerous. Oh, Healey? That guy's got a screw loose. But when you hear him talk about diving and sharks in this three-minute clip, you hear someone who is thoughtful, calculated and self-aware. "I have a super busy mind," says Mark, "and the only way for me to really have a moment where I'm just being — I'm not thinking, I'm not turning my wheels — is holding my breath, surrounded by water." Still, it's a bit unnerving watching Mark swim with and pet bull sharks at the bottom of the ocean. Then again, he's spent enough time with sharks to know them, to get past those sinister faces. "What I learn from sharks is don't judge a book by its cover," explains Mark. "Sharks can't change their facial expression. They tell you what they want you to know with their bodies. They always look mean to most people." So maybe the same way we were wrong about Mark being foolish, we were wrong about sharks being mean? Maybe. Why don't you go jump in and find out?

David Gogo - 'She's Alright' - RAREARTH 2010 David Gogo (born March 18, 1969), is a Canadian blues guitarist who is currently signed to the Cordova Bay label. Gogo was born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, and received his first guitar at the age of five. By the age of 16, he was getting regular work as a musician. Gogo formed a band called The Persuaders, which eventually opened for blues performers such as Johnny Winter, Buddy Guy and Albert Collins. After performing in Europe, Gogo signed a solo record deal with EMI Records.[1] His albums have included Dine Under the Stars, Change of Pace, Bare Bones, "Halfway to Memphis", "Live At Deer Lake", Skeleton Key, "Vibe" and "Acoustic". He appeared as a guest musician on Tom Cochrane's album Mad Mad World, Bob Walsh's album "Bob Walsh Live -- A Canadian Blues Rendez-Vous" and others. His "Acoustic" album, released in 2006, was nominated for a 2007 Juno Award. He is a two-time Maple Blues Award winner. David Gogo is the cousin of Trooper keyboardist Paul Gogo.

Fugue [13:34] A work for organ by the prolific Anglo-Canadian composer and organist Healey Willan (1880-1968). A fellow of the Royal College of Organists, Willan emigrated to Canada in 1913, assuming the posts of Head of the Theory Department, and later Vice Principal, of the Toronto Conservatory of Music (now called the Royal Conservatory of Music); Precentor of the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, Toronto; Choirmaster and Organist of St. Paul's Church on Bloor Street; Professor of Music at the University of Toronto; and founding direction of the Tudor Singers and Gregorian Association of Toronto. Often called the "dean of Canadian composers", Willan was among the first recipients of Companionships of the Order of Canada in the centennial year of 1967. The Introduction, Passacaglia and Fugue, widely acknowledged as Willan's masterpiece for organ, arose out of a challenge by a friend that only a "German philosophical mind" could write a good passacaglia. The composer set about writing his passacaglia one variation at a time for each journey he made to his summer home at Lake Simcoe. The work was inspired by the opulent Casavant organ that was installed in 1914 in St. Paul's Church on Bloor Street in Toronto.
