Dr. Harrit was a co-author with Dr. Steven Jones and others of the so-called "nanothermite paper" concerning explosive residues found in the WTC dust. The paper is available online at bentham.org. On February 28th, 2010 Dr. Niels Harrit gave a presentation on the collapse of World Trade Center 7 in Aarhus, Denmark. Hundreds of invitations were sent to both journalists, city council members and various members of the scientific community. More than 300 people attended, among them several professors from the Engineering College of Aarhus. Three months later on June 10, 2010, Dr. Fahim Sadek of NIST (fahim.sadek@nist.gov), which produced the Bush Administration's report on the WTC, gave a lecture at the Engineering College of Aarhus -- also on the collapse of the World Trade Center buildings. This presentation was arranged by IDA, a major interest-group and union for engineers in Denmark. It was expected that Dr. Fahim Sadek would take questions at the end of the lecture. However, nobody was allowed to ask any. Nevertheless, before Dr. Fahim Sadek left, Dr. Niels Harrit managed to catch him for a brief talk. Despite filming or any other doumentation of the event was prohibited, over an hour of video of Dr. Sadek's presentation was pieced together from several hidden video- and sound recorders. WTC Demolition Nano-Thermite Niels Harrit Interview
On Monday morning on April the 6th, Professor Niels Harrit of Copenhagen University in Denmark, who is an expert in nano-chemistry, was interviewed for an entire 10 minutes during a news program on the topic of the nano-thermite found in the dust from the World Trade Centre. Harrit, who is one of the nine scientists responsible for the pivotal paper entitled: Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe, talks about how their research, which was conducted over 18 months, led to the conclusion that planes did not cause the collapse of the three buildings at the WTC on 9/11. He says that they found such large quantities of nano-thermite in the WTC dust, that he believes that this explosive compound, which also has the ability to melt metal, must have been brought into the WTC site in tonnes, on pallets. Consequently, he suggests that we need to address this matter with those who were in charge of the security at the World Trade Centre on 9/11. Harrit, like Dr Steven Jones who played a major role in this ground-breaking research, refers to their findings as "the loaded gun" and indicated that people with the military might be able to enlighten us more on the little-known topic of nano-thermite.
