3 Min Cute Knotted Hairstyle
Here is just a quick hair tutorial that only takes a few minutes to do. Great for days where you are in a hurry to do your hair but you still want to look cute (because who doesn't? =D). This cute knotted side bun is super adorable and would be perfect for school/everyday. I don't know about you guys but where I'm living in right now, I can barely stand a day with my hair down. This hairstyle has a very cute and fun feel. It's kinda messy and looks complicated but it's so easy that you can do it with your eyes closed. I did this hairstyle with mega textured/beachy hair. It was super teased for a runway style up-do hairstyle ouch.... It's a lot easier with clean (or greasy lol) hair but the dryness did make the hairstyle stay put lol. Ps. I didn't dye my hair again (obviously from my roots lol). My dark dye just faded =( My hair doesn't like being dark. Pps. I got my Hello Kitty fashion glasses from Argle Centre Mong Kok. You can actually get them almost everywhere in Hong Kong. I wish they're my real glasses O_O They're so fun! EDIT! I just checked ebay and you can actually find them in all sorts of colours. A friend of mine, Kori at {http was the first to come up with this waterfall braid cheat and we wanted to share it with you as well! Items Needed: Brush or rat-tail comb, 1 bobby pin, hairspray {if desired}. Time Requirement: 5 minutes Steps: 1. Start on front right of the head and section out a large strand of hair that can be your base for the twist around the head. 2. Divide this strand in two equal pieces and twist them around each other once. 3. Take a new selected strand of hair and place it between your twisting strands, so that it literally falls through. 4. Twist the two original strands once more. 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 all the way around the back of the head and towards the top of the left ear. 6. When you finish your last twist, grab a bobby pin and secure the end of the twist above the ear, making sure to hide the bobby pin as best as you can. 7. Many of you have already seen our tutorial for "No-Heat Headband Curls here... http Instead of using a headband on this one, we used simple socks! This is super easy to do, and the curls last a long time. I also like pin curls or rag/paper bag curls but they can take up to 20-30 minutes or more to put in. This takes literally 2 minutes to put in, and you can style the hairdo the next day in any number of combinations! I tied in the socks lower, because we are totally into the low curls lately... but you could roll them all the way up for more volumous curls up top. It is key to make sure that the hair is slightly damp {not wet} anytime you want no-heat curls. If the hair is too wet, it will not hold the curl as well. Aren't these ho-heat curl hairstyles so fun? Sailor Moon Hairstyle
Hello my iced chocolate cherry blossom tornado squirrels! This hairstyle is inspired by the heroin of the japanese anime sailor moon. It consists of two buns (odango) and twin tails and is easy to adapt to any style depending on what kind of accessories you are going to wear. Let's start! First of all, brush your hair and make sure there are no knots. If you have bangs, I would part them from the rest of your hair. Now part your hair in the middle and make two high pigtail. Tilting your head to the side makes it much easier. These are clip-in extensions with silicon inserts, so they don't damage hair! Also make sure your hair and the extension are the same colour tone! Flip a pigtail and clip depending on the volume three to five extensions in. Now backcomb your pigtail and twist it around. You don't have to backcomb it a lot, just enough to create a fluffy bun. Then fix it with a bobby pin. Shape and adapt the pigtail to make it look like a ball. Then just repeat that with the other side of your head and there you have the Sailor Moon Hairstyle! Now you can add cute hair clips or scrunchies to your odango to complete the style! Have fun styling your hair and see you in my next video! Time Requirement: 5+ minutes I love the way that fishtail braids look, and have been wanting to a Fishtail braided bun for a long time! Since this is prom season, we decided to finally film this hairstyle for all of you. If you do not know how to fishtail braid, please see our easy step-by-step video here first... tinyurl.com Before the tutorial, I slightly curled the top layer of the hair only, using a curling wand, leaving the underneath layers as is. I then gathered all of the hair to the side by the right ear and created the fishtail braid. Once the braid was finished, I secured it with the hair elastic and tugged on the sides of the braid just to make the braid appear more loose. Then I rolled the braid up into a bun and pinned it just behind the ear. To avoid having to use so many bobby pins, I used 3 Goody Spin Pins. These pins are the perfect solution for holding hair buns together all day! I figure that each spin pin saves you from having to use 2-3 bobby pins, and they come in colors to match your hair type. For me the curls last super long with no styling product when I use a straightener, but like I said, this method damages your hair more :( My hair is also naturally pin straight so curling irons do practically nothing for my hair (I don't think I'm doing it wrong either). If they succeed in curling my hair at all, it doesn't stay curled for long. We have been wanting to do a hairstyle featuring an upside down french braid, so this was a perfect opportunity. If I were to do this elegant hairstyle again... I would make the french braid continue up higher on her head (since it was barely visible in the end and kind of disappointing. This would be a great hairstyle for Prom, Homecoming, flower girl, communion, dance, wedding, church, Easter, or other special occasion. I think leaving a few curls (ringlets) left down gives it a fun "Elizabethan" or old fashioned, Renaissance Princess look. The Crown {Carousel} Braid | Updo Hairstyles

Some variations use a ponytail on top from which you pull strands into the crown braid. I do not particularly like that version as it leave a hole on the top of the head, and a bump as well. The Crown Braid uses the Dutch Braiding technique, but you pull the hair in on top only from the front. This is what makes the style look so clean, and allows for the braid to pop out.
