Everybody loves a change. Right? My last haircut barely did anything for me and my hair basically ended up growing back anyway. I super duper love my long hair, except for the fact that it's growing too long for me to manage. I decided that getting a trim / medium cut would be stupid because my hair would still end up looking long. Plus my hair grows incredibly fast anyway so if I didn't like my cut, I could always grow it out. I've always wanted to try this haircut (watch video!) for the longest time and I'm glad I finally had it done! I know it may not be the prettiest 'do to sport but I guess what's really important is that I like it. Carla's hair to start with was very long but this tended to drag her face down, the hair was also thin and flat. This haircut is chosen to help thicken, add texture and create more fullness to her face! Top colourist Lara Clark transforms Carla's hair from brown to an array of golden blondes, creating more dimension to the haircut. This was the first time the Ideal home show had a celebrity hair partner, that would perform makeovers on their new catwalk. This video shows Stuart plucking someone from the audience and cutting their hair! Stuart chose a lady called Alice, Alice had a long layered square bob. The shape didn't really suit her, it made her face too square and flat, the fringe was also very heavy. He would re-style her hair by cutting it dry and mainly chopping into and free hand cutting! Stuart starts by explaining to the audience that all he needs to do is tweak the hair, by just cutting off a couple of inches and from this he can transform her hair into a new trendy hairstyle.
