During the latest December Decimation tour BareBonesMusic.com caught up with Justin Lowe (guitar) for the progressive extreme metal band AFTER THE BURIAL. Evil G. spoke with Justin about the bands latest release 'In Dreams' and how this current record is a change from their previous Sumerian Records release 'Rareform' in 2006. He talks about the 8 string guitar attack from both himself and guitarist Trent Hafdahl and how it affects the bands sound and songwriting. Justin also talks about being on the December Decimation tour with bands like Winds of Plague, Upon A Burning Body, Carnifex and War of Ages, his and the bands influences on them as musicians and if he has always been a big fan of progressive metal bands such as Opeth and Meshuggah. There's a "laggy" part before the breakdown buildup, I edited it so the tom fill would fit, I accidentally sped up there. I do not own any song by After the Burial, those guys are kick ass enough as it is.
