It Drives really good and has more power than the one that I test drove when they first came out. 3.5 litter 5 cylinder engine 4500 pound tow capacity 6000 pound max tow weight. Its not really that hard on gas like hummers have reputations for.

Hummer's H3 - a kinder, gentler iteration of the take-no-prisoners sport/utility - joins the ranks this year, and with a starting price of about 0000 it's gunning for BMW's X3, Nissan's Xterra, and Toyota's 4Runner. While the venerable H1 and H2 see a majority of male buyers, Hummer has women squarely in its sights with the H3. Based upon the rugged ladder-frame architecture of the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon pickups, the H3 shares the same visual cues as its H2 big brother: signature grille, chiseled surfaces and short overhangs.

Step 1: Jack front end up with floor jack (make sure you are on level ground) Step 2: Locate and adjust torsion nut 2.5 turns clockwise on each side (clockwise will give increased height) Step 3: Lower the front end and drive around. Pump the brakes some to let everything settle/work in Step 4: Take measurements for back and front wheels from the center of the hub cap to the lip of the fender (you want to bring the front wheel measurement up to equal the back wheel measurement) Repeat steps 1-4 adjusting the amount of turns you do on the torsion nuts as needed to have the back height equal the front height Step 5: Get a front wheel alignment! Step 6: **OPTIONAL** Get and install bilstein fron shocks and bump stops h3 package from www.trailduty.com (cheapest I've seen) to increase ride and comfort

HUMMER COMES TO THE UK The HUMMER brand is arriving in the UK with the opening of the first dedicated HUMMER showroom this week. HUMMER will begin selling a right-hand drive H3 in the summer. Bob Lutz, GM vice chairman, global product development, unveiled a prototype right-hand drive H3 during an opening ceremony at the Bauer Millett HUMMER facility in Manchester. "HUMMER's iconic design and unparalleled off-road capabilities appeal to a wide audience globally. We are determined to build upon the brand's unique recognition in Europe and especially here in the UK," said Lutz. Bauer Millett, the UK's sole HUMMER licensee since 2002, has been in business since 1973 and has been associated with General Motors since 1988. Several more dedicated HUMMER showrooms are expected to be opened in coming months in other parts of the country. GM acquired the rights to the HUMMER brand in late 1999, and since then, HUMMER sales have grown from around 1000 vehicles in 2000 to more than 82000 in 2006. The H3 made its debut in North America in May 2005 and helped make HUMMER one of the fastest-growing truck brands in the United States by the end of 2006. With its smaller, more efficient package, the H3 made the brand accessible to more customers, while still retaining the characteristics that make a HUMMER unique: iconic design and unparalleled off-road performance. Without a doubt the HUMMER H3 is a vehicle in it's own class of luxury, off/on-road capabilities, and straight up awesome looks. In many of today's vehicles one would have to sacrifice in order to achieve a high level in one of the above mentioned categories but the HUMMER H3 does it all. The HUMMER H3 was easily able to climb steep hills and descend through very rough and rocky terrain with extreme confidense. On the other hand the HUMMER H3 is a very smooth and luxurious vehicle to drive in the city. The jaw dropping off-road capabilities of this HUMMER H3 translated into city driving makes use of its small turn radius to easily park in any parking space. Review of Off-Road Capabilities: This HUMMER H3 handled the off-road challenge with extreme ease. This year, I came to a decision where I had to chose to shoot a 5-point mule deer on the back side of the mountain or let it go... Knowing that I had off-road capabilities of the HUMMER H3 to back me up, I took the shot and managed to get myself an awesome trophy buck. Thus, speaking from personal experience, the HUMMER H3 climbed through brush, mud, boulders with very little effort and brought my trophy buck home. 3 Hummers (H2, H3, & H3T) and a Jeep JK hit 93C at Beasley Knob. At the first big hill climb, the H3s both spun their tires until winching and towing themselves out. There was a stock Nissan Pathfinder that made a valiant effort, and made it just as far as the H3s before getting winched. The H2 made it through, but I wasn't there to see it - had to leave the park for a bit to get the wife. I filmed myself going up the same section, and the jeep did not spin a tire at all. You can jump to 11:47 to see the JK hit it. IMO the H3s failed due to a lack of articulation - no flex whatsoever in the front. One had lockers, the other only limited slip, but it didn't make much of a difference.

My wife and I did our first off-road driving on Drummond Island while on vacation. In spite of being rookies with no winch and no partners -- in a completely stock vehicle -- we did well and had a great time. We were also grateful for the very nice group of people we met from the Gladwin, MI area. They provided spotting assistance at the "Steps". By the way, breakfast at the Bear Tracks Inn is a MUST.
