The only sound effect not from mlp is the wind noise in the background, which came from a sega genesis. sorry for lack of masking in this one, vegas just absolutely would not handle it within this project file. Outside of it it worked fine, but with "gummy's valley 7.veg" vegas just went "oh you wanna do masking? AH HAHAHA - NO." but I had lotsa fun experimenting with some new ideas in track motion and layering techniques (the honeycomb stuff). I should also mention that, to those who haven't played this game or did not know about this song beforehand, yes, it is very repetitive. I would like to mention however that the notes and structure of the song in this video are an exact copy I wrote by ear of the original Gobi's Valley theme. It's just repetitive in nature, so it's understandable why someone would think this video is repetitive or boring (hell - someone even thought that halfway through I just made the video repeat) but for those of us who did play this game as a kid and know this song by heart, I didn't DARE change the original by shortening it or trying to liven it up. It would be sacrilegious. One of the distinctive qualities about banjo kazooie's music is that it's MEANT to be repetitive. Yeah I was bord yesterday and didn't feel like doing a request, so i did something that I wanted to record while school was going on but never got the chance to. A "fight to the death" between the Gummi Ship and Terra's Keyblade Rider. Who will win? The Hero of Light or the Badass Keyblade "Master" who can ride his own Keyblade... So, I used a old code I found in one of the old KH2FM code threads to replace Pride Lands with Terra so I could have some fun with the Gummi Ship on the world map. Don't mind the short little subtitles in the begining of the video, I made this at around 12AM and thought it would be kinda funny at the time (including the little "300" joke since I watched the movie again the other night haha XD) Anyway, I'm starting to get back into Youtube again since I'm on Summer vacation!!!
