iPad Garageband - Guitar Jam Improvisation
UPDATE to answer to all comments saying "I would like to see you do that on Android tablet" because I said that Android tablets are better than iPads. Oh fanboys... I would never buy a 400-500$ tablet just to make music. In fact nobody should. You can buy a computer and actually PRODUCE music. Its easier, its better. So you obviously buy a tablet for other uses; Work? Gaming? Entertainment? Doesn't really matter. Over the last year Android tablets managed to offer more for less money. Just live with it. Garageband on iPad (and mac) is a very nice program and YES we will not see something like that on Android soon. But it is still just a toy. If it was not a toy, Apple would not design and sell Logic, which is a professional DAW. So buy a 400-500$ toy? Hmmm... No thanks. If you want to produce music get a computer. Even with freeware software you will get better results. If you want a tablet for actual tablet uses (work, gaming, entertainment) get an Android tablet. So.... This is me creating a jam track with apple's Garageband app for the ipad and then shredding a guitar solo over it! I am sorry about the bad video quality, but i could not find a way to record ipad's screen in a fast framerate. Anyway i believe you will get the idea. Hope you enjoy!

So this is my list of the 25 best guitar riffs. Don't hesitate to let me know what I may have missed. By best, I don't mean most difficult or anything like that; I mean the 25 most recognizable guitar licks that I could think of. Everything is recorded live, and I'm not playing over any of the original tracks. I use backing tracks that I've found in various places on the Internet. I do all of the guitar playing you hear, even if you don't see the video. Oh, except for the second guitar in The Trooper, and the rhythm guitar in Thunderstruck. Those came with the backing tracks :) The sound is recorded into Garageband, the video is recorded into iMovie, and then I sync them later. When I just started playing guitar years ago I found myself hitting some plateaus. The first one was getting my hands used to pressing down the strings and forming chords. Then the next obstacle to overcome was chord changes followed by rhythm and timing. Also it is not easy practicing all of the time especially when you have a busy schedule. But keep in mind that practicing every day for ten or fifteen minutes will help you get better than having a long practice session one day and then take the next few days off. A very common thing I see beginner guitar players do is spend most of their time looking up tabs for guitar songs. There is nothing wrong with learning songs by looking up the sheet music at first. But at some point you will want to transcribe music or in another words learn by ear. I had a tough time breaking the habit of looking up guitar tabs for this song and that song. I mean trying to learn songs by ear is difficult at first. But it will pay off big time once you get it down. Trust me playing guitar becomes a lot more fun once you can listen to any song and play along to it on guitar. This is what the guitar course Jamorama teaches.
