What to tell you about Graven Image? Graven Image released in 1984 a 2-track ep in small quantities that is nowadays one of the most sought after Heavy Metal records. The outstanding musically quality and the straight forward stuff makes it also to one of the best (if not the best) Metal records of all times. (It's clear to me others have different opinions) If you look where the metal was in 1984 and you listen to this music, you'll recognize that Graven Image where far ahead of their time. Sadly the Business never recognized the awsome talent of this Band. Not in 1984 and not in 1987, when they re-recorded the two songs together with the new track 'The house'. Graven Image are history. All what remains is their unique gift in form of timeless Heavy Metal, a ultra cult state in the underground and some boring and nasty bootleggers that ripp off fans and artists by releasing crap. There were many bands from USA under this name. This group was formed in 1983 in Los Angeles. Graven Image released the ultra rare "People in hell want ice water" EP in 1984, "Warn the children" EP in 1987 and a compilation with some demos they recorded in 80s in 2005. "The house" is taken from their 1987 "Warn the children" EP. Great 80s metal!

Jeremiah 10, Heathen Christmas Tree? Or Graven Image?
This video shows that Jeremiah 10 speaks of a graven image as we see in verse 14, and not a Christmas tree as some believe. For Christmas trees don't wear "...blue and purple CLOTHING..." as we see in verse 9. A GRAVEN IMAGE is made of wood. The wood comes from the tree. The tree comes from the forest. Tools are used to shape it into an image. "Molten" gold and / or silver are then poured on it to finish it. Then it is worshipped as a god. That's the way of the heathen that Jeremiah 10 speaks of, not a Christmas tree. In the story of "The Five Blind Men and The Elephant", the one who touched the tail said, "It's a snake". Another who touched one of the feet said, "It's a tree". Those who think Jeremiah 10 speaks of a Christmas tree obviously need to read more of it. Verse 14 says, "Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the GRAVEN IMAGE: for his MOLTEN IMAGE is falsehood, and there is no breath in them."
