Life in the Finland woods by Sylvia Marie & Graham Wilson
Here's an old favourite which I hope you enjoy. Sylvia's playing lead accordion, and myself harmony. The waltz was written by Carl Jularbo (Karl Oskar Karlsson from Jularbo 1893-1966) a Swedish Accordion King, and name of this melody in Swedish is : "Livet i Finnskogarna" - but "Finnskogarna" is not in Finland ! Correct translation of this melody name is: "Life in the Finn-Woods". Also: Livet = Life i= in Finn-skogarne (only Skog = Wood) is name of a place in frontier of Sweden/Norway and also not in Finland. Catapilla - Embryonic Fusion (UK 1971)
Catapilla biography CATAPILLA were an English band from the early 70's who released two interesting albums of experimental jazz rock, without symphonic traces as in other bands of the moment such as AFFINITY, CRESSIDA, or SPRING. The band had a line-up of six to seven people performing on saxophones, keyboards, bass, guitar, vocals, bass, and drums. In "Catapilla" perhaps the production is not so strong as it was necessary. The album consists of four tracks with extended, instrumental passages where guitar, saxophone, and keyboards get lots of solo space. Far superior to their first album, "Changes" is a very atmospheric piece of music. Their sound is more ethereal and spacey, but still a terrific blend of jazz rock/brass rock with an occasional psychedelic edge. I Tony Leigh a parent protest outside the The Church of Scientology every Month, and today i was told by community Policeman that i would be arrested and my car put in a compound if my signs on my car were not removed. I then spke to a real Policeman and he checked my signs and agreed with me that they were all ok. He then went to see Sam Butler head of PR for the cult and informed him that my signs were NOT THREATENING, and i was to put my car back. I did and we got on with the protest. WIN, WIN, WIN.

Swervedriver - Girl on a motorbike Swervedriver - Girl on a motorbike (HD) (Mezcal Head - 1993, Creation/ A&M) Swervedriver are an English alternative rock band from Oxford. The band went on hiatus in 1998 before reforming in 2008 for a world tour, which included a performance at the high-profile Coachella Festival. Their first three albums were also reissued in 2008/2009. History Early years The band started in Oxford in 1984, with the formation of a group called Shake Appeal, named after a song by one of their main acknowledged influences, The Stooges. Consisting of vocalist/guitarist Adam Franklin, guitarist Jimmy Hartridge, lead vocalist Graham Franklin (Adams brother), bassist Paul Wilson, and drummer Paddy Pulzer. Wilson left and Adam Franklin switched to bass duties before Richard Mason took over and finally the band settled on Adi Vines as bass player. They released one 7" single, 1987's "Gimme Fever", on Notown Records as well as two tracks, "Amphetamine" and "Take A Ride", appearing on Oxford bands compilation album The Jericho Collection around the same time.. The band disbanded in 1988. The band effectively reformed after Vines heard demos of new songs "Son of Mustang Ford", "Volcano Trash" and "Afterglow" that Adam Franklin had recorded at home. The last Shake Appeal line-up then recorded a full band studio demo of "Son of Mustang Ford" and "Afterglow" before Graham Franklin departed.
