Kate visited the Today show this morning where she told Ann Curry that she was "definitely ready to start dating," but added that there are some obstacles. No kidding. It's hard enough to date with one kid, much less eight. Hell, it's hard to date with zero kids. "I have eight kids, I have a crazy work schedule, I'm known," said Gosselin. "It's sort of daunting when I think about the obstacles. I'm hoping that person is out there, because the kids on a daily basis are just begging me to get married again. Kate Gosselin's name has been thrown around when it comes to the all-star season of Dancing with the Stars. When it was first announced that the producers of the show were going to bring back some of the best dancers, many people thought it would be a battle of past winners. However, it seems like it will just be a group of fan favorites... good and mediocre at best. It's been a while since we've seen any major Kate interviews She was on the Today Show and The View 5 times each. In September she was on Regis & Kelly, and in Nov she was a correspondent for SWTS. She's back on to promote her series returning to TLC in April. I've never seen this show before, seems like a knock-off of The View. Interestingly 2 of the hosts (including Sharon Osbourne who has shown disgust for Kate in the past) were not there to interview her, but present for the rest of the show. Kate's looking extra and tan, I guess that's what happens down under. Kinda reminds me of season 4 on Jon and Kate. The previous segment had everyone discussing how Billy Ray regrets putting his daughter on TV and the cost of that fame. I would have loved to see what Sharon would say about this since one of her daughters chose not to appear on her reality show. Does Kate have any regrets? I would have hoped that in honest self-reflection she would acknowledge some regrets. Doesn't mean she's a bad parent or anything but by saying there are no regrets that means she's happy with how things have turned out and would do it over again. Per Sara's prodding, Kate does admit to some media pressures on the kids, but quickly reiterates the positives of getting to travel and have life experiences (at 6) that equip them to face the world. I don't know if I'd use that argument simply because there are many people that don't travel and manage to face the world just fine. But that's ok. Kate ...

Kate Gosselin finally gets the E True treatment with her own documentary. She and those close to her did not participate, instead they relied on info from people on the peripheral of her existence. Many people pointed out the glaring error of the photo of her "parents" are in fact Nana Joan & her husband. She was one of the volunteers that came through the door to help babysit and feed babies. In fact Kate's real parents don't seem to have any public photos out because she has cut them out of her life. That's gotta be difficult to see their grandbabies on TV and not get to hold them. Some people suspect Kate planned sextuplets for the fame and fortune. I doubt this since there's way too many variables and not something you can plan. I do find it suspect that they got pregnant quickly meaning that they didn't try for very long on their own after marriage before getting fertility treatments. Kate did have a very simple childhood with 4 siblings, a pastor for a father, and owning (or living in??) a trailer park/campground by their church. I wonder if Kate felt entitled to more or resented her simple upbringing. Her first plane trip was her honeymoon with Jon... Only 10 years ago! My she has made up for the lack of vacations since then in the last 3 years.
