Godin Summit CT Demo
I have been looking for a mahogany bodied, maple topped 24 3/4" scale guitar lately and gave the Godin Summit CT a try. Very nice, but I cannot not quite adapt to the slightly narrower string width as a result of the fixed bridge (which is a standard fixed bridge width). The search for a 24 3/4" scale, mahogony body continues. I pretty much need tremolo type bridges which are slightly wider and spread the strings out a little more. Rhythm riff is Seymour Duncan Alnico II in the neck and '59 in the bridge. Lead is '59. All three tracks have the boost button engaged. The Godin Summit CT has - Mahogany neck - Ebony Fretboard - 16" fretboard radius - 24 3/4 " scale - 1 11/16" nut width - Solid mahogany body - Carved flame maple top - Seymour Duncan Alnico II neck and '59 bridge - Godin High-Definition Revoicer which is a subtle, but usable built-in booster. Unfortunatley, no locking tuners. Notice the Summit CT has strings through the body which with the mahogany creates massive amount of sustain with this thing .

CRUNCH LAB LIQUIFIRE ON GODIN SUMMIT CT
playing through all pickup positions with clean and dist sound... my 5 way pickup selector setting is NECK HUMBUCKER - NECK INNER SINGLE COIL - BOTH INNER SINGLE COIL - BRIDGE INNER SINGLE COIL - BRIDGE HUMBUCKER... I play neck first on the clean sound and bridge first on the dist sound, direct to amp, and captured with a zoom q3hd video recorder. all the single coil sounds are boosted with the standard godin summit ct's hdr booster, the single coil sounded a bit soft without the booster on i combined dimarzio's original petrucci wiring diagram with seymour duncan's 2 HUMBUCKER 1 VOL 1 TONE 5 WAY SUPER SWITCH wiring diagram to get the combinations that i want, with an extra modification to get both inner coils working on the middle positions

Straight C Minor Blues Backing Track
Forgive me for the one or two mistakes I made. For some reason I thougnt E Major instead of Eb, but its blues so yea were just gonna say it was planned. Overall, I think this is one of my best recordings in terms of sound, I wasn't as adventurours with the scales as I should be, but I got a decent sound out of it in my opinion at least. Recording was done out of a Cheap horrible webcam, audio was recorded straight to my computer from my POD X3 Live so no amp was needed. Alizee and Blues are awesome!
