Glenn Beck Offers 150k For Rev. Wright 'Obama' Box
Via Current.com: "Right-wing bloggers are all over the allegation that someone close to President Obama offered $150000 to Rev. Jeremiah Wright to quiet down during the 2008 campaign in which attack ads tried to link some controversial sermons to "radical" candidate Obama. Glenn Beck's new obsession is another comment by Wright that he has a "cardboard box" that contains "several things" that could possibly link Obama associates' attempts to distance the campaign from the church. Today Beck said, "I offer you a $150000 as an opening offer for the box. We don't spin it. We will just show what's in the box. Opening offer $150000 right now cash for the box"...".* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down. *Read more here: current.com Glenn Beck Loses His Mind On A Caller: www.youtube.com Subscribe to The Young Turks: bit.ly Find out how to watch The Young Turks on Current by clicking here: www.current.com The Largest Online New Show in the World. Reuben Keeney feat Glenn Rosborough 'Give It Some Time' OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO
***OUT 24.06.2012*** Toolroom Records latest release comes courtesy of teenage sensation Reuben Keeney and lyricist Glenn Rosborough, with the stunning 'Give It Some Time', complete with a remix package that includes Kim Fai, Morgan Page and NDKJ. Reuben Keeney established himself as a real 'one to watch' at only 16, following support from David Guetta, Mark Knight, Pete Tong and Carl Cox, as well as picking up numerous accolades including 'Best New Artist' in the Irish Dance Awards. Combine Reuben's production prowess with the sensational vocal licks of Glenn Rosborough 'Give It Some Time' is the perfect dance / pop fusion, an emotive piece with an infectious vocal resounding above delicate piano melodies and twinkling keys for a blissful anthem that will be taking over the dance floors and airwaves for a long time to come. Kicking off the remix package, UK favourite Kim Fai provides the big hands-in-the-air moments with a thumping, main room mix. US star Morgan Page strips the original back for a spine tingling progressive affair, whilst NDKJ takes his mix down the darker route on a real techy tip. www.toolroomrecords.com http www.twitter.com Video by Shane Macnamara of London Sessions Productions: www.londonsessions.co.uk

Conversations with History: Glenn Greenwald
Conversations host Harry Kreisler welcomes writer Glenn Greenwald for a discussion of his new book, "With Liberty and Justice for Some." Greenwald traces his intellectual odyssey; analyzes the relationship between principle, power, and law; and describes the erosion of the rule of law in the United States. Highlighting the degree to which the legal system frees the powerful from accountability while harshly treating the powerless, Greenwald describes the origins of the current system, its repudiation of American ideals, and the mechanisms which sustain it. He then analyzes the media's abdication of its role as watchdog role. He concludes with a survey of the the record of the Obama administration in fulfilling its mandate, argues for an alternative politics, and offers advice for students as they prepare for the future. The game will feature cross-genre of both adventure and action, in which, like in the previous Telltale titles, the player must make use of inventory items and environment, however, unlike in them, the played characters will have limited time to do so and could die in the process. The game is told from the point of view of a new character named Lee Everett, who will be the only controllable character in the game. Lee ...

Glenn Gould on Sviatoslav Richter, and in particular his interpretation of Schubert. UPDATE re: the voice in this clip -- it turns out that this was taken from a Russian TV program, in which Gould originally spoke in English but was later overdubbed in Russian. The original English audio was lost, and it had to be re-overdubbed in English, using the text of Gould's comments (which is stored at the National Library of Canada). So while the voice is not Gould's, the comments are.
