Widely criticized for sounding like an updated Zeppelin, Kingdon Come no doubt carved their own place in metal history. Some magazines took to calling the band "Kingdom Clone" for their remarkable similarities to Zep, but lets be honest...if you were going to sound like another band, wouldnt you choose to mimic the sounds of a band that has stood the test of time? Lenny Wolf used his strengths (which would be his Plant-Like voice) and put together a tight bunch of musicians for this project. Lenny gained notoriaty for being an ego-maniac when the band showed up to a show in a van, and Lenny pulled up in a stretch limo. What wasnt known about that was that Lenny was doing a adio interview before the show and the station had set up the limo, which happened frequently. There is no denying this bands talent and ability, no matter who you think they sound like.

Rare footage of Bill Chase and his band performing live at the Faces club in Chicago on February 28, 1974. This video was shot during the album release party for the Pure Music album. This is the only known concert footage of the band. This clip is the encore with solos by the whole trumpet section. Sadly, just six months later, Bill and three members of his band were killed in a plane crash.
