Large crowds gathered and at approximately 6:45 pm An apparent blood / crip gang fight began and a male black was shot on Speedway and 17th. Four suspects fled in a car, and hundreds at the basketball courts went running for cover. The male that was shot would not describe his attackers, but as he went critical he began to give information as well as witnesses at the scene. UPDATE: Wrong suspects shooters still at large. Large amounts of gang members are Leaving the area via bus. A massive deployment of officers is monitoring the crowds and MTA is sending more buses.

Lyari Gang War
KARACHI: Lyari area is once again witnessing violence and has been paralyzed this morning as two factions locked their horns in exchange of intense firing, SAMAA reported on Monday. Armed gunmen are roaming the streets of Lyari and there is no one stopping them. Frightened people are unable to move out and are confined to their houses. All shops and other business activities have been closed in Lyari, Khadda Market, Naya Abad, Mossa Lane and adjacent areas as heavy exchange of fire between the gunmen of the rival groups continues in these areas. Heavy contingents of police and Rangers are present in the area but they are reluctant to go in to control the situation or engage the culprits. Prior to the eruption of firing, people in Lyari, Khadda Market and Naya Abad took out a protest rally on Mauripur Road and blocked it. On one side armed miscreants' firing continues inside Lyari and its adjacent areas while on Mauripur Road, a protest of people belonging to the same area is under way. SAMAA

GANG WAR: BANGIN' IN LITTLE ROCK captivated audiences across America in 1994. East Coast and West Coast gangs had converged in Little Rock, Arkansas and local black kids were choosing sides. White kids were also joining up. No one at the time had seen white kids speaking in gang vernacular, getting "beat in," or "retaliating." The homicide rate per capita soared and surpassed that of New York and Los Angeles. The police cracked down, most of the OG's went to prison, the economy got better and life slowed down for a while. After ten years of relative calm, Little Rock is heating up again. Funding for community programs is being diverted to anti-terrorism, the economy has turned, and the OG's are back in town. So we're back in the hood to see how our old friends are faring and what the new generation has in store.

KARACHI: At least four passengers were injured in firing on a bus in Lee Market area while firing is continue in many localities of Old City, Geo News reported on Monday. According to details, unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate fire on a passenger bus as result four people sustained bullet injures. The injured were rushed to Civil hospital. Firing in Kharadar, Napier road, Lee market, Baghdadi and Khada market has created panic among the people. Trade and business centres are also shut in these areas. Police have asked for extra contingent for these areas. Meanwhile, residents of Maripur staged a protest demonstration against the firing incident and blocked the road for vehicular traffic.

My Karachi, the commercial hub of Pakistan bleeds Gang war expanded throughout Karachi 50 Urdu Speakers abducted 30 killed 25 missing. Lyari Gang war & Peoples Amn Committee of PPP start abduction and killing of Urdu Speakers / Mohajirs from entrances of Lyari and start beheading them. The death toll in Karachi violence has climbed to 38 in two days as 22 more people were killed in firing and torture incidents since midnight. According to police, four bullet-riddled bodies were recovered from Baldia Town sector 19. The deceased were kidnapped, tortured and later gunned down. One of the dead is identified as station officer Miran Naka fire station Liaquat Zafar Farooqui. Fire brigade officials informed that deceased Zafar Farooqui was abducted along with fireman Muhammad Irfan from Miran Naka fire station. There were small notes recovered from the pockets of deceased, saying, "want war or peace or should we send more". In another incident in Badia town, unidentified armed men killed a man and injured four others. Sporadic firing is continuing in Baldia town no.4 area. Armed men also opened fire at police station. A body unidentified person was also recovered from Manghopir, while two bodies were recovered from Garden area. A hand grenade was hurled in Ranchor Line area. Four tortured bodies, stuffed in gunny bags were found from Lyari, and four others were recovered from Shershah area. Buses and Employees of different companies were abducted.
