Kuntaben is the President of Adesh Mahila Mandal, Sajipara village, dang district. She lives with her husband and two kids. They earn their living by harvesting seasonal crops and animal husbandry. Yet it's very difficult for them to make ends meet and provide the best for their children. When the Forest department of Dang wanted to give training to rural women for their development, she saw a golden opportunity for herself as well as the folks of her village. She took an active interest and convinced others to join the program working on it till late night. It wasn't easy as there was opposition from some families for women to work and she had to do everything at the cost of her own time and energy. But she didn't give up and today they are 100 odd women making very beautiful fashion jewelery. We are very happy to have Kuntaben as an integral part of our new venture 'Sweetly Designs' which aims to create a sustainable livelihood for rural artisans by providing them access to global markets for artistic handicrafts and empowering them with knowledge resources.

He often stands as a lookout to older pirates, but even the smaller Tabuji is a skilled climber, joining his more experienced friends in stealing metal scraps. Tabuji says the money goes straight to his jobless parents who use it to buy food. But not all pirate children use the money for sustenance. Others gamble with their earnings. Toto" is a veteran pirate at seventeen. Unlike the others, he not only steals scrap metals but cell phones, clothes and other items worth selling. The pirate gang is so skilled that even grown men find it hard to stop them.
