JTable Demo - Database Searching and Adding
This was my project for Database class. It is a Point-of-Sale software. Everything (except shopping bag images) were made from scratch, using Java (Eclipse IDE), MySQL Database (MySQL Server), and JDBC Connector (Eclipse plug-in). This video shows what I can do with the JTable. It queries the database for items and lists them out in a JTable. Selected item could be added to the list of items (main window in the background) to be purchased. An item that's being added more than once will have it's quantity incremented rather than adding another row of the same item. Not everything were refined because of time but the JTable works well. Since there were a number of requests for the code, I'm going to post the particular .java files that shows how I did it. I had a limited amount of time, so I'm sure code cleanup could have taken place, and code efficiency was mostly neglected for debugging purposes.
