Franchi I-12 Review (Inertia Driven)
In this video I review my synthetic Franchi I-12 (intertia driven) waterfowl version with 28" barrel. It is chambered for both 2-3/4" and 3". The inertia driven system allows the Franchi to cycle extremely fast, keep weight and size down, and clean up easier. Drawbacks include smaller parts in the bolt as well as more felt recoil, though the twin shock absorber system helps with this a little. Overall I find this a great shotgun despite the pricepoint of $700-1000. In the inertia driven hierarchy this gun falls in the middle. First is the Benelli Super Black Eagle series, then the Franchi I-12, then the Stoger 2000. Kind of like the SBE is a Viper, the Franchi is a Corvette, and the Stoger is a Camaro- in my opinion.

Shooting a Franchi SPAS-12 Shotgun
Relieving stress the old-fashioned way: sending rounds downrange. This is me shooting a Franchi SPAS-12. This shotgun is also capable of semi-automatic fire, but we did not have the magnum shotgun shells that deliver the power required to shoot semi-automatic. Please note: - This shotgun CAN fire semi-automatic (without pump action). - The shotgun did not jam. It failed to extract once. - The click at the end was NOT a jam. I had thought the magazine tube was loaded to capacity so I was expecting one more shell.

Revolution PAC, the Super PAC formed to support presidential candidate Ron Paul, has received early data from the commissioned Iowa poll. The TeleResearch survey is the first to incorporate disaffected Democrats and Independents who will not vote to re-elect Obama and instead crossover to participate in the Iowa Republican Caucus, as well as likely Republican caucus-goers. Survey sample size is approximately 2900, with almost 700 likely republican caucus-goers. Indiana's TeleResearch Corp., which has been polling voters for more than 18 years, reports that the margin of error is less than 3%. Factoring in both Republican caucus-goers in conjunction with disaffected Democrats and Independents who've indicated that they will participate in the Iowa Republican Caucus, Ron Paul leads at 25%, with an approximate 4-point advantage over Newt Gingrich and Herman Cain. Factoring in only Republicans voters, Ron Paul is in a three-way dead heat for the lead, with Paul and Cain tied and Gingrich trailing by 1 point.
