Unusual Russian Planes Russian army was by the idea of creating huge planes. At that times they were proposed to have as much propellers as possible to help carrying those huge flying fortresses into the air, jet propulsion has not been implemented at those times yet. Not much photos were saved since that times, because of the high secrecy levels of such projects and because a lot of time passed already. Still on the photo below you can see one of such planes - a heavy bomber K-7. Now modern history lovers in Russia try to reconstruct according the plans left in once to be top-secret Russian army archives their look in full color. This is one example based on ideas of Russian aviation engineers of that times.

Team Fortress 2: Hide and Seek Mod (Prop-Hunt)
*Mod Created by Darkimmortal* In this video some friends and I play on a modded server that has a game mode similar to Hide and Seek. One team spawns as scout "props" while the other team spawns as pyros. The blue team spawns as scenery like boxes, chairs, cows.... The red team spawn as the pyros. The blue team has 30 seconds to hide somewhere around the map and make themself look as natural as possible. Lulz ensued when you spawned as a bad prop such as a frog or a cow and you were forced to run around in circles the entire round trying not to get caught by the trigger happy pyros. And for the next 40 years, they would engage in an endless war because neither brother was bright enough to, perhaps, hire more mercenaries. Blutarch, nearing death from old age, contracts expert craftsman Radigan Conagher to build a machine that would extend his life. However, Radigan was also convinced to build the same machine for Redmond by a stranger offering Australium, a rare and powerful element only found in Australia ...

Gameplay footage of the classic online multiplayer game, Team Fortress Classic. Team Fortress Classic is a mod for the original Half-Life. Now, for a little background information... Team Fortress started as a Quake mod. It was vastly popular for some time. After the TFC mod was created for Half-Life, its popularity grew and the game flourished for years. After the release of Half-Life 2, the game's community began to slow down and the amount of players decreased. People continue to play on servers today, though many just run bots. In 2007, TF2 was released to much critical acclaim. I thought it was a great game, but today it is just a shell of what it used to be. A once fun game that was all about the action turned into a free-to-play game that nearly matches WoW with the amount of time people wasting getting useless things like hats on it. The "balancing" of the classes ruined the actual gaming aspect of it for me, and once the Mann-Conomy was introduced, I decided the game was no longer fun and stopped playing it.

The Brest Fortress (2010) Russian war movie
The defence of Brest Fortress took place 22--30 June 1941. It was one of the first battles of nazi Operation Barbarossa. The Brest Fortress, defended by the Red Army against the Wehrmacht, held out longer than expected, and became a symbol of Soviet resistance during the Great Patriotic War, along with Moscow, Leningrad and Stalingrad that spelled the beginning of the end of the Nazi war machine. In 1965 the fortress received the title of Hero Fortress for the 1941 defense. During the last days, the remaining defenders made inscriptions on the walls. They said: "We'll die but we'll not leave the fortress". "I'm dying but I won't surrender. Farewell, Motherland. 20.VII.41." Major Pyotr Gavrilov, one of the best known defenders of Brest (later decorated for it as Hero of the Soviet Union) was captured only on 23 July. There were reports that isolated defenders were weeded out by Germans as late as in August when Hitler and Mussolini visited the fortress with heavy security to protect them from remaining defenders. It is claimed that a stone Hitler picked up from the remains of a bridge was found in his office at the 3rd Reich's headquarters after the war. To eliminate last pockets of resistance German High Command had given orders that the fortress cellars be flooded with water from the Bug River.

Based on the Australian TV show 'The New Inventors'. The story with this video is that I started it, but then I eventually stopped (I got to about 2:34) and had no motivation to continue. I released what I had done and got a surprising reaction to it so I ended up finishing it.

Fortress of War tells the story of the heroic defence of the Brest fortress in Belarus that was assaulted by the Nazi's on the morning of June 22nd 1941. Totally outnumbered in soldiers and weapons, the citizens of Brest fought to the bitter end for twenty-nine endless days. The events that took place in the first days of the invasion are depicted with documentary accuracy, the characters are real. Featuring unique footage of that time and the involvement of the few veterans who survived the battle, Fortress of War is a large scale war saga depicting a heart-wrenching story of bravery and self-sacrifice. The spirit of the film is best summed up by the legend scrawled on the wall of one of the vaults: "I WILL DEFEND TO THE DEATH!" Fortress of War is released on DVD 5 September
