It was also their first chart single in the UK, reaching #31. The lyrics tell a vague story about a man looking for a girl in a forest. He hears her calling for him, and as he chases her, he suddenly stops and realizes that he is lost and that the girl is not there. The song is fairly upbeat compared to the other material on the album, and Lol Tolhurst's machine-like steady beat together with Simon Gallup's minimalistic bassline gives this nervous chase more depth and keeps the song on the edge of a frantic groove until the end. Though not their biggest hit, it is regarded by many fans and critics as one of the best examples of The Cure's sound, particularly their use of chorusing effects. The song is also notable for securing the band its first slot on BBC's Top of the Pops. The track has been re-recorded a number of times by The Cure. In 1990 the track was re-recorded and remixed as the "Tree mix" on the band's "Mixed Up" album.

January 2007 The Chenchus are one of the last remaining tribes in India. They live a hand-to-mouth existence in the forest but attempts to integrate them in society have failed. For centuries, the Chenchus have survived as hunter-gathers. They have no food preservation techniques and no interest in material wealth. But the Chenchus' traditional forest homeland has recently been declared a tiger sanctuary. Attempts to turn the Chenchus into farmers failed. They refuse to leave their forest and are struggling to adapt to new lifestyles.
Suicide Forest in Japan
The Aokigahara Forest is the most popular site for suicides in Japan. After the novel Kuroi Jukai was published, in which a young lover commits suicide in the forest, people started taking their own lives there at a rate of 50 to 100 deaths a year. The site holds so many bodies that the Yakuza pays homeless people to sneak into the forest and rob the corpses. Hey guys, Thank you so much for the positive feedback from my last painting video. Some of you were asking for more painting videos to come so I vlogged my most recent painting lesson from Tim Gagnon. It's my last misty forest lesson =( I give all credits of this painting to Tim Gagnon. It was his guidance that led to the completion of this painting. I can't explain how much your comments meant to me. It really motivates me to improve and maybe someday- maybe I can become a true artist by selling my work. If not- teaching art will be just as rewarding ^_^. I have so much more to learn and it's given my life so much more direction and inspiration. These types of videos will hopefully show the other side to me. I like beauty, hair and fashion but there's more that inspires me. It also allows me to talk to you guys. I guess... I want you guys to know that despite everything that's happened, I am still the same old Bubz. Youtube has been a great stepping stone for me. It's helped me develop my tshirt range, makeup brushes and has given me countless opportunities. I really realized that happiness doesn't come from success or fame... It's still the little things that make me happiest. It's still the people in my life that keep my days bright. I hope everybody out there will realise their own worth. Nobody is worthless.
