Reporters threatened with arrest for filming private Federal Reserve building

Security guards working for the bank approached the reporters at a city park that houses the National WWI memorial and demanded that they provide their names and disclose why they were filming the building. After Aaron Dykes refused to provide his full name, he was told to leave public property immediately or face arrest because the bank was concerned about what he was filming-- despite the fact that the female security guard repeatedly admitted he had done nothing wrong. In the face of Free Speech under the First Amendment, as well as common sense, the other reporter, Rob Jacobson was also told to leave despite complying with the request to provide his name. "Officer Booth", the female private security guard for the Federal Reserve, dared to pronounce that he was "guilty by association." When this reason was challenged, the stupified "Officer Collins" told reporters that they were not to ask anymore questions and should in fact leave immediately. What jurisdiction they had-- if any-- is unclear, as the cameramen were approached on city property. it was such a cool experience. the church was BEAUTIFUL! they are all so gorgeous off the screen =) i wanted to get inside the church so damn bad lol i was like "can you hire me as an extra?" the director was like "nooo" haha. sorry for the crappy videotaking. i have a new camera and am still learning how to use it, so bear with me. i legit cried when leighton came out, so i didn't notice that my camera stopped recording, but penn and blake where behind her, which made it even more exciting and overwhelming for me. as you can see, they weren't in costume, but their hair was done. Blake was wearing a ponytail with a bump at the top. These speed tests were filmed at actual web page rendering times. If you're interested in the technical details, read on! Equipment used: - Computer: MacBook Pro laptop with Windows installed - Monitor - 24" Asus: We had to replace the standard fluorescent backlight with very large tungsten fixtures to funnel in more light to capture the screen. In addition, we flipped the monitor 180 degrees to eliminate a shadow from the driver board and set the system preferences on the computer to rotate 180 degrees. No special software was used in this process. - Camera: Phantom v640 High Speed Camera at 1920 x 1080, films up to 2700 fps "Why does allrecipes.com in the potato gun sequence appear at once, and not the text first and images second? And why does it appear to render from bottom of the screen to the top?" Chrome sends the rendered page to the video card buffer all at once, which is why allrecipes.com appears at once, and not with the text first and images second. Chrome actually paints the page from top to bottom, but to eliminate a shadow from the driver board, we had to flip the monitor upside down and set the system preferences in Windows to rotate everything 180 degrees, resulting in the page appearing to render from bottom to top. "Why does the top one third of the page appear first on the weather.com page load?" Sometimes only half the buffer gets filled before the video card sends its buffer over to the LCD panel. Guitar Oscillations Captured with iPhone 4
I just happened upon this trick when testing what it was like filming from inside my guitar. *Note this effect is due to the rolling shutter, which is non-representative of how strings actually vibrate. Tips: • You must have the strings brightly backlit to get the camera to capture at such a high frame rate (pure conjecture). You can see how the effect fades when the buildings come into view. • Use a pencil *This was used with the front facing camera, try the back camera, it may capture better!
