Street Fighter: Beginnings End - Thousand Pounds
My team and I just finished our first game to live action short, based off of the popular Capcom franchise: Street Fighter. Its always pained us not to see the movies focus on the two most iconic characters from the series so we thought wed pay tribute to the epic fighters that Capcom have created and make a small short film demonstrating some of their talents; all the while showing a take on Ken and Ryu at their dojo before Ryu enters the World Warrior Tournament for the first time (Street Fighter 1 Territory). The short consisted of a $400 (out of pocket) budget, was shot on the Canon EOS 7D, edited in Final Cut Pro and effects work done in Adobe After Effects. We hope you enjoy what we have put together! My dream is to make feature films that focus on video games/comics/anime and adapt them into a live action format. Im hoping this is a step in the right direction. **On a side note: We still can't believe the odds of another team releasing a Street Fighter Fan Film in the same week (let alone 24 hours!). But we can't wait to check out their film and we wish them the best of luck! We're fans first and foremost! Officially endorsed by Capcom StreetFighter Legacy has been a labour of love and passion project for its creator, Joey Ansah, who not only conceived and pitched the project, but also co-directed, co-wrote and choreographed it, alongside cameo'ing in the film. Collaborating, creative partner and long time friend Christian Howard was part of the project from day one, co-writing the script and story elements, as well as further down the line, storyboarding the film, being assistant fight choreographer and most importantly playing Ken Masters. Streetlight repped Australian Director Owen Trevor came onboard to co-direct the film. Russell took over the project after Darren Aronofsky dropped out a few years ago. Amazing pictures from Switzerland show where "jetman" Yves Rossy gave this incredible flying display, using a tailor-made jet pack. The aviation enthusiast leapt from a helicopter and performed a series of aerial acrobatics above the Alps. He then joined two jet planes in a synchronized flight. To synchronise their flight paths the jets reduced their speed to 220 kilometres per hour (137 miles per hour), which put their engines at a point close to stalling. Classic Game Room HD reviews VIRTUA FIGHTER 2 for the Sega Genesis from 1996. This 2D version of the popular Virtua Fighter 2 is very different yet very similar to the polygon-laden Sega Saturn version. The moves are similar, as is gameplay. A few characters are missing and the visuals are dramatically different but the game still kicks virtua ass. This CGR review of Virtua Fighter 2 on Sega Genesis (aka Sega Mega Drive) has gameplay from Virtua Fighter 2 on the 16-bit Sega Genesis showing Virtua Fighter 2 gameplay in HD action. This is a one or two player 1 or player fighting game that plays with a three or six button Sega Genesis (Megadrive) controller. Virtua Fighter 2 is easy to find and lots of fun.
