On my first attempt with BST I took out all the mini gods first, it took quite a bit longer, but worked out fine.

This was actually my first time ever playing on 99 SCH. On the real server my SCH is only 49. Really sloppy at the end, I'm sure a more experienced SCH can easily do it quicker/smoother.

FFXI - Ark Angel Beastmaster Solo Part 1
I just went back to vanadiel, after a good nearly 2 year vacation from fighting monsters and saving the world! I noticed a lot of things have changed. I rushed my bst to 95 ( as you can see i dont have any good gear at all for my level! lol ) I always wanted to complete my ark angel fights for Zilart missions. Thought i would give it a shot seeing as how there was no level cap :D I used Gooey Gerard for all my battles, real cheap pet, think i paid 13k for a stack! (I have never used Gerard before this battle) I went at this blind, as i did not read how the fights were going to be, the one that gave me the most problem was the EV with so many stuns! FFXI - Sedna (Abyssea - Vunkerl Ruszor NM) - WHM Solo
~Please watch in 720p!~ Sedna is the zone boss of Abyssea - Vunkerl and can be found by taking the path north of Conflux #3. The ??? for his pop is located near the coastline after you leave the tunnel. Out of the nine zone bosses, Sedna is one of the easiest to handle but also the most annoying to proc as most of his "standard" attacks count as TP moves as well. The fight itself is rather straight forward. Keep Barwatera and Shell/ra V up to help mitigate the water based damage and use Dagan to recover HP and MP when hit with the silence aura. Sedna's most annoying move is Hydro Wave, removing a piece of equipment from your character and putting up a silence aura as long as there are "bubbles" floating around Sedna. This can be particularly troublesome if he removes your weapon and you do not heal to full the moment you see Hydro Wave going off. Which leads me to say is to heal oneself to full as son as you see Hydro Wave go off. With enough HP, even if you lose your weapon, you should get enough TP back to Dagan before Sedna turns you into fish food. Of course, in the odd situation that Sedna does do back-to-back Hydro Waves, there isn't much you can do about that but chalk it up to bad luck and pop Benediction to stay alive for one round of that. What one is seeing here is a full 300% Dagan at work. TP Bonus off hand coupled with the Smiting Blow Atma allows for WHMs to hit 300% Dagan regardless of TP. This is very useful in maximizing the amount of HP a player gets ...

FFXI - Provenance Watcher Attempt
A long winded attempt at Provenance Watcher in a PUG. We failed, I lost 330k cruor from buying one of the key items needed. We were doing fine until we ran into some hard procs, temp items stopped coming in, and we got overwhelmed, running out of fanatics. We were gonna go out with one last attempt at the boss as soon as some of us unweakened (we got him down to 15-16%) but someone did something, and the group got Drawn-In and killed again. I was getting reraise up, and had ~30 seconds left on weakness. Was gonna pop some potions/ethers and try and proc a thunder weakness. Oh well.

FFXI - Beastmaster solo Bakka NM
Drops : "Glyph axe"DMG: 57 Delay: 276 Pet: "Regain". I got the drop! 1/4 First try i used Gooey Gerard but proved to be pretty weak and got me killed. Next up was this wonderful raptor pet. I would run away when he was low in health till my reward was up. Rinse and repeat till he was dead. Killed him twice and didnt get the drop yet. Ill get you soon bakka! Soloed as RDM99/NIN49, without the use of Cruor Buffs, Atmas, or Temporary Items; Tavnazian Tacos, Holy Waters, Echo Drops, and Remedy Ointments were deemed an acceptable circumvention of the implemented handicaps. Elapsed Time: 54 minutes, 23 seconds. Thanks for watching.
FFXI - Iratham (Abyssea - Tahrongi Caturae NM) - WHM Solo
~Please watch in 720p!~ Iratham is the first of six Caturae NMs released in the Abyssea expansions and is found roaming around the mountain near Conflux #7 in Abyssea - Tahrongi. Iratham himself (herself?) can be quite painful to deal with thanks to some fairly powerful magic and the ability to do two TP moves back to back when it reaches low health. Iratham has access to Dispel at all times. When above 45-50% HP, Iratham mostly spams fire-based spells, notably Flare and Firaga III. Below 45-50% HP, Iratham chances gears and starts using Ice based spells, notably Freeze II and Blizzaga IV, as well as the occasional Sleepga II. Below 20%, Iratham gain access to Comet. With this in mind, using appropriate bar-element spells will help mitigate some of the damage. Each of Iratham's TP attacks are threatening, but the most threatening of all is Deathly Diminuendo, a TP move that bypasses shadows and inflicts both Curse and Bio. What makes this attack deadly is that if he uses this move first followed by Blizzaga IV or any damage based TP attack, it can quickly lead to death. Iratham's other TP attacks include: -Stygian Sphere (heals between 1.8-2.0K, gets a magic damage based Stoneskin) -Afflicting Gaze (Gaze attack, lasts ~30 seconds, inflicts Bind and Plague) -Shadow Wreck (High AoE dark damage attack that by passes shadows) -Malign Invocation (AoE damage, inflicts Amnesia, bypasses shadows) -Hellish Crescendo (AoE damage, inflicts paralysis, bypasses a shadows) -Diabolic ...

The character Scudo(meaning shield in Italian) was initially planned to be a WAR+DRK character, but following my recent move to Carbuncle; I decided to make Scudo my MNK SAM RNG DRG character and leave Aatto my WAR DRK + whatever else alternative for Lakshmi. As can be seen, Scudo is very incomplete ;s This video features many new ballistars, large majority of them being recent server transfers from Fenrir. The ballista community on Lakshmi has been thrown into limbo. With the recent migration of players wanting to experience ballista on Carbuncle(Neo-Gilgamesh) - our official matches have experienced much lower participation. Likewise, our hako games have staggered with the departure of many strong players. But recently, Lakshmi has received an influx of ballista players from Fenrir, Cerberus, and Phoenix - raising the population by approximately 10 players. This influx was expected, as myself and many others have been trying to promote ballista on Lakshmi(and Undine) - and in retrospect, another community boom is most certainly approaching. It should be noted, I've been trying to record a match on Carbuncle.. but I haven't quite been able to participate in any of the late night matches, the only event I have played on Carbuncle, is hako among the elite(everyone is a galka........).. which I will need to post very soon! FFXI - Provenance - Seductive and Beguiling Radiance
SE released the finale of Voidwatch this week, it introduced a new area called Provenance which is like an area with burning circle battles for voidwatch. There are four arenas, Seductive Radiance, Beguiling Radiance, and Maddening Radiance. We did Seductive and Beguiling Radiance, then bought the key item for Maddening with cruor (it's 330k cruor per key item). You need all three key items that you can buy, or get as drops from either these VW battles, or from randomly from other voidwatch battles. In the Radiance battles you fight two caturae in each battle. They were pretty easy in our PUG. Then when we all had the key items, we fought the Provenance Watcher (big ass dragon). We failed, I'll have a video of our attempt up later.
