Final Fantasy V PS1 Version Gilgamesh Battle
I just felt like kicking it old school today. This is when Gilgamesh was super pathetic in the world of Final Fantasy. But you had fun beating his ass anyway. I'm using the old Brady Games Guide I've had for the longest. I don't follow it to the letter most of the time though. It told me to use a ninja to kill all the normal enemies with skills(fire ice lightning). Didn't follow that those things cost alot of money. I don't care about this PS1 vs GBA crap. I stick with the PS1 version. I'm not gonna buy the same game especially when there isn't much content added to the game. 3 new (and pretty useless) jobs...wow. (From what I hear you get these jobs so late in the game no real point in getting them unless you want to master everything.)

Final Fantasy V Advance - Gilgamesh #4
The fourth battle you face with Gilgamesh, right before facing Exdeath in World 2. Basically, Gilgamesh claims to have taken the Excalibur from the chest, only to realize that he only has a fake. In return, my party steals his Genji Glove. BTW, two things to say: 1. At the end of the battle, there's a certain plot element that gets introduced, but becomes important in World 3. 2. LOL at Bartz shooting Gilgy's crotch

Battle with Gilgamesh - Final Fantasy V
The awesome battle theme that is played when facing Gilgamesh, in Final Fantasy V. ahem...poor lighting again Most of this recording is from the piano collections version. I only changed a little bit, and added an intro. This intro though, is simplified. I might decide to make a new recording in the future. Ya I know some parts still should have been softer. I suck at that. One section which is P on the sheet music I purposely made MF though..but wutever Er...there's a major mess up but wtf. It doesnt sound so bad, or even bad at all. Also messed up on the triplets that I added myself..the second time through where the first part repeats. Enjoy Oh um if you want to see sheets to the sections I add/changed, here it is i60.photobucket.com

FFV Docs: Torture: America's Brutal Prisons
The recent Abu Ghraib prison torture scandal shocked the American public. But they might be even more stunned to discover that strikingly similar violence occurs inside prisons throughout the United States, where prisoners are routinely abused, even tortured, by prison guards. TORTURE: AMERICA'S BRUTAL PRISONS visits correctional institutions in Texas, Florida and California, uncovering penal systems with deeply ingrained cultures of punishment, rather than rehabilitation. film still The film features actual videos recorded by prison surveillance cameras and correction officers themselves, which reveal incidents in which inmates are brutalized, often for minor infractions, with stun guns, tasers, dangerous restraining devices, attack dogs, chemical sprays, and beatings by guards. These disturbing scenes are supplemented by interviews with former prisoners, a warden, a prison doctor, inmates' relatives, attorneys, and footage from a California Senate inquiry and a murder trial of four guards. film still Although many prisons denied permission to film inside their facilities, a rare glimpse behind the walls is offered by interviews with former correctional officers who have broken the "green wall" code of silence and become whistleblowers. They testify about the regular practice of cover-ups of corruption and violence, as well as the brutality and vindictiveness of fellow guards. This rare look inside our correctional system is a reminder that most of us are not only ...

Final Fantasy V Dear Friends - My Home Sweet Home
Track #6 Lyrics:- So far away from my home, sweet home Day by day, from land to land I roam Though told by the wind which way to go, Oh, how I long for my home, sweet home. Boaðe ruoktot alot go dan dovtat tuski Boaðe ruoktot alot go dan dovtat vaivui Du ruoktu vuordà du alot Du ruoktu vuordà du alot Fragrant blossoms blooming far away Do my folks see them as I did long ago? Are they still joyful? Are they young at heart? Will I see them again as I did that day? Bearaš, ushbat Ruoktu, muitut Dat ca goassige Vajaldahtc du How far I've come from my childhood home! There will come a time when my troubles are gone, And when I shall not be all alone Till then, I dream of my home, sweet home. Meahcci, čàcit, Albmi, eana: Dat buot vurdet du Dat buot vurdet du.
Final Fantasy V Advance Gil Turtle
You probably never knew he existed; the fearsome Gil Turtle! Hardest super enemy in World 2, because there is no easy way to beat him, and you can't go back and find him later in World 3 (However, he appears as the first boss of the Secret Dungeon)! No simple trick can do it! Only cold, hard, strategy! Used in this video: Bartz: Magic Knight (w/!Image from Ninja job) Lenna: Samurai (w/!Summon from Summoner job) Krile: Black Mage (w/HP +30% from Monk job) Faris: Magic Knight (w/!Time from Time Mage job) Strategy: You have to have as high of an ability to avoid this boss' insanely powerful physical attacks as possible. They deal 1000+ damage to the front row! Image from the Ninja job, the Samurai's natural ability of Swordgrab, shields, and the Golem summon all serve to block damage. Time magic Hastega is cast to allow you to move faster than that Turtle; it is combined with Float on the whole party (The Earthquake attack near the end of the video, used when the Gil Turtle dies, actually does about 3000 damage, and will kill an unprepared party!) The only thing that can seriously hurt the Turtle is Ice attacks. Everything else does squat. So, Blizzaga Sword and Blizzaga magic are a requirement... Special Note: You'll notice at times that it seems like I take damage but my HP doesn't drop. This happens because of the effect of Golem; when the hand pops up, it means that the effect of Earth Wall has basically negated that damage. Golem itself has an invisible HP count, and ...
FFV Doc: Quiet Rage - The Stanford Prison Study / Experiment
The quiet Sunday morning of August 14, 1971, was broken by the wail of sirens as the Palo Alto, California police swept through town arresting nine people. The suspects were handcuffed, read their rights and subjected to the degradation of the booking process after being transported to the Stanford County Prison (SCP). So began the Stanford Prison Experiment (SPE), one of the most important psychology experiments in this country's history. www.prisonexp.org

Final Fantasy V Advance: Enuo
Well, as I suspected, and saw from other videos, he wasn't that tough. He got a few good moves in, but I can safely say That Neo Shinryu and Omega MKII have more fight in em' than this guy does, but he still proves to be a fun fight. Enjoy.
Final Fantasy V - Omega
And now, IMO, the hardest one of the two optional super bosses in FFV. Omega comes before Shinryu in the final dungeon, but that doesn't mean he's easier. I see people complain about how hard Shinryu is a lot, and say Omega isn't too bad. When you compare these two videos to my two Shinryu clips, I must ask why. Omega seems to be able to counterattack you many, many times in a row, before you get to move again. And his attacks are extremely lethal. And before someone points out the obvious, no, it is not because I use Sshot. I tried without Sshot, and he still counter attacked a bazillion itmes. I don't know if it's like this in the FFV remakes, but he's definitely tough to beat. Anyway, Omega is weak to Bolt, so if you have the Sorcerer ability, use Bolt 3 on your sword(s) and use Sshot for an attempt at an easy win (assuming you even get the chance). Haste 2 is very important here, and Fire Rings should be worn to absorb his Atom Ray if he uses it for a free heal (pray he does use it often). His deadly attacks are his Beam Cannon which does 1300+ to everyone, Atom Ray (1500+?) to everyone, Encircle (instantly kill someone and takes them out of the fight), Rocket Missle (does 300+ damage and confuses target), Rainbow Wind (blinds opponent), and Delta Attack (petrifies). The fact he can spam these moves whenever makes him tough. As you see in my second clip, you can tell how unfair he can be. I almost lost the first clip as it was. He also has an insane evade rate, and ...
FFV Doc: When Kids Get Life
The United States is one of the only countries in the world that allows children under 18 to be sentenced to life without parole. Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International report that more than 2000 inmates are currently serving life without parole in the United States for crimes committed when they were juveniles; in the rest of the world, there are only 12 juveniles serving the same sentence, according to figures reported to the United Nations' Convention on the Rights of the Child. In When Kids Get Life, FRONTLINE producer Ofra Bikel (The OJ Verdict, Innocence Lost) travels to Colorado to profile five individuals sentenced to life without parole as juveniles. Colorado was an early pioneer in juvenile justice, focusing on rehabilitation rather than punishment. But in the late 1980s and 1990s, when a sharp increase in violent crimes by young offenders attracted enormous press coverage, legislators nationwide clamped down. In Colorado, the General Assembly eliminated the possibility of parole for life sentences and expanded the power of district attorneys to treat juveniles as adults. In 1992, the United States ratified the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, which requires that juvenile imprisonment focus on rehabilitation, but the US reserved the right to sentence juveniles to life without parole in extreme cases involving the most hardened of criminals -- the worst of the worst. www.pbs.org
Clash on the Big Bridge v2.0 - Final Fantasy V, Mario Paint
This is music that plays at the Big Bridge and during battles with Gilgamesh. Themusic was recreated with Mario Paint Composer. To learn more about how this song was made, see my Mario Paint Composer Tutorial videos for details. The upgrades I made to this song are similar to my other ones. I'm a little surprised at how much I missed before, but I think I got it right this time. If you're interested in other classic (pre-PS2) Squaresoft music, I plan on recreating a lot more, so please feel free to subscribe to my videos. Currently, I am holding off on accepting new requests, so that I can catch up on my list. Thanks for watching!
Final Fantasy V Advance - Galuf vs. Exdeath
The last battle you have with Galuf in FF5, and it's impossible to lose this one because he's still standing even at 0 HP. Since I made Galuf a black mage/summoner, I made this battle a magic duel.
Final Fantasy V Battle With Gilgamesh with intro
Ok, so I know a bunch of people have been wanting to see this song with the intro, so I took the time (finally) to re-record it as the original version sounds and then it works its way into the Piano Collections version. I made a lot more mistakes than the first one, but that's what happens when you don't practice for awhile. ;p But yeah, I've been busy with school a lot lately and I haven't had time to record this one with the camcorder because the other camera wouldn't record past three minutes, but even after I got around to recording it I still didn't have the time to get the software installed and working until today. So FINALLY here it is! Enjoy. :)

Final Fantasy V Advance: Level 1 Frog vs. Shinryu(No Damage)
Getting a No Damage win is luck based. You have to hope that you do the correct Mixes in the correct order near the beginning. Mix is definitely my favorite ability in this game. Expect to see massive abuse of it when I make both sets of solo videos. This will be my final FFV Advance video until I complete my test run and speedrun of the PS1 version then my FF VIII No Junction Game. I will then make videos of both the standard solo and low level solo games. Inventory is the same from the Omega fight since I didn't save after it.

Final Fantasy V - Gilgamesh
Moving onto FFV (already have FFIV final boss, and no English FFIII that's not DS), we have the last fight against Gilgamesh (sorta). He's not that hard, but he's an interesting guy that you fight multiple times in the game that has his own battle music. If curious, this is once again, the PSX port of the original version that comes in the Final Fantasy Anthology package with FFVI port too. People tend to dislike this port because of the music sounding somewhat different and the laggy battle menu. It's bareable, though. Anyway, onto the fight. This game is like FFIII and uses a Job Class system where you can assign a job class to each of your party members of a class you already have. Believe it or not, I went through most of the game with just a Black Mage, White Mage, Knight/Samurai, and Ninja/Blue Mage. But to make the game easier, you're going to want to switch every now and then to other jobs to level them up. My setup was a Samurai, BM, WM, and Ninja. To win, just heal status ailments, spam Cure 3 if you have it, and spam attacks with your physical attackers. If you have a black mage, spam level 3 spells. When he morphs into his second form, the fight is pretty much over, just simply keep attacking him and you shouldn't die. Oh, and Merry Christmas. Speaking of which, I was extremely shocked when I ended up getting a PS3 for Christmas. So possibly getting PS3 games to record soon, though I only have an interest in a few PS3 games.
Tears for Fears - Swords and Knives
Lyrics: A waking world of innocence So grave those first born cries When life begins with needles and pins It ends with swords and knives Oh dangerman, oh dangerman Your blade fits like a glove When forged in steel Time cannot heal That blood red bond of love In times of trouble youre an open book With the change in the way you look And its sad loves not enough to make things better Turn the tables, well burn the fables Lies beneath the visions and daydreams Fooled by now, we mystify the past Like a dream, like it never happened When life begins with needles and pins It ends with swords and knives God save those born to die

Let's Listen: Final Fantasy V - Boss Battle Theme (Super Extended)
My FFV Playlist: www.youtube.com My Super Extended Music Playlist: www.youtube.com
Clash On The Big Bridge - Final Fantasy V on Mario Paint C.
There are a million names for it. Clash On The Big Bridge, Battle with Gilgamesh, FF5 Boss Theme 2. Whatever the name, it's an awesome song. It's already been done by HCBailey, but it was requested by decadencedemon, and I haven't done a MPC video in a long time. So here it is, the song born in FFV that so many relate to that giant million-armed man, Gilgamesh. (Music Notes: Some of you may not agree with the choice of stars as the secondary melody instrument for the chorus and the bridge, but I liked it the best. And there are some parts that aren't 100% perfect, and that's because I arrange these songs, NOT transcribe them. That means, I listen to the song, and arrange each instrument as I see fit, as opposed to copying notes on sheet music directly over to MPC. Anyway, I think I did come away with this decently though.
