FFIX Easy Level Leveling Up
(Read this to learn my method) **This video I made during disc 3. It's old, laggy and the updated version is linked via annotation at the start. But you can do this at the very beginning of Disc 2 It's simple, and it works really well! -Step 1: Let Freya win the Festival of Hunt so you can receive the coral ring. -Step 2: During your very first visit to Treno purchase the Reflect Ring from the auction. (very important) Now try to get at least 2 of your characters in Zidane's party to have learned Auto-Reflect before you go to Cleyra (takes some time, but not a lot at all) during disc 2 and equip a 3rd character with the Coral Ring, as for the 4th...doesn't really matter..you can try auto-reflect on them but it can take some time to do (make sure the entire party is also equipped with Level up & antibody..nothing else matters) It's best to leave Freya out of the auto-reflect and the coral ring because she can jump in the battle and get out of most of it anyways saving time..but it's your choice here! Now heal your party (tent, or whatever) and save your game if you want in the Gizmaluke's Grotto. Climb the vine and exit the forest to the flat grassland and run around until you encounter a Grand Dragon...now the only 3 attacks Grand Dragon does are -Venom Breath (Antibody) -Poison Claw (The only attack it does that will kill any of your party members) Thundaga (Coral Ring/Auto Reflect) sometimes hits only one character... sometimes hits all (which is great) but the fight is ...

Read this first if you have any questions! - By completing the friendly monsters side-quest, you will make Ozma weak vs shadow damage (where as Ozma normally absorbs shadow damage). - To fight Ozma you must obtain the "gold" upgrade for your chocobo, fly under one of the small, circular shadows found around the world (they will also appear on the world map which can be seen by pressing select a few times) and using a Dead Pepper. - Thieverys damage is = ((# of successful steals * Zidane's Speed)/2) - I did not get "lucky" when I made this video; having Ozma use Doomsday on its first attack is the only way to beat it in one round and, therefore, it was very much my intention to have Ozma use Doomsday first.

Both the original song sung by Emiko Shiratori, as well as the piano version, which is beautifully arranged by Shiro Hamaguchi. I have always wanted to make a video of Melodies of Life. However, I never tried it as it is very prone to errors for recordings due to the flowing left and right hand. After playing it for two years from time to time, I now felt comfortable to try it =) Not without difficulties though, as always little mistakes happened while recording, which delayed me for three days. That is, because continuous failed recordings demotivate you for the day after an hour at maximum! Especially, if they happen a few bars before the ending - multiple times -.- In this recording, a small mistake also slipped in. But it's not that bad, and I didn't want to try any further. 眠らない街 トレノYou can download the sheet music I made, which Tom is reading, here: www.keeper1st.com This beautiful ragtime piece (oddly with 8-bar strains, though they don't feel like they're lacking despite their shortness) was composed by Nobuo Uematsu (植松 伸夫) for the Final Fantasy video game series (ファイナルファンタジー). Tom plays it with a lot of rubato, so sometimes the tempo speeds up quite a bit. Hopefully that doesn't offend anyone! I stopped the video too soon. As you can hear, Tom went back to re-do the middle section to get it right.

FFIX - Memoria (1) - Assault of the White Dragons
I'm doing what I did for my FFVIII videos: recording all the boss fights on Disc 4. This is the introductionary battle for Memoria, the coolest looking, weirdest final dungeon. Stats are shown at the beginning. The 1st half of the video shows the 'Assault of the White Dragons' where the Invincible tries to reach the big, pink ball of doom. Great music and scene. The other half of the fight is the battle. Here is Zidane, Dagger, Freya and Amarant against Nova Dragon at the gates of Memoria. The pink in this fight is blinding me. Simple, straight-forward fight. Nova is simply a stronger version of Silver Dragon, which isn't saying much. The thing he can do is counter physical attacks. He also has wind attacks and Psychokinesis, an attack Garland liked. For the heck of it, Dagger summons Ifrit. And Dagger gets the kill with a physical attack? Now begins the trippiest of dungeons ever. Fire Chaos next. Please comment, rate and enjoy.

Final Fantasy IX Speedrun Part 1
This is part 1 of 68 of a speedrun I did for Speed Demos Archive. I completed the entire game with a time of 8:32. Skipping FMVs was not allowed in this run. Start - Alexandria/Steeple I wanted to steal the Mage Masher from Baku; not only does this save time by not having to pick it up in the Ice Cavern, but its higher damage speeds up the next few battles as well. The likelihood of stealing it quickly, however, is pretty small. After many tries, this was the quickest that I was able to steal it (took one extra turn). When you follow Puck into the steeple, if you're fast enough he won't actually tell you to keep up; usually I'm fast enough, but this time I wasn't.
