Here's a better sound-synced version of the "February Air" video that I made in September of 2006. YouTube doesn't let you replace the video without deleting everything. Because of the way YouTube transcoded the video, the audio in the other one was totally out of sync, even though it was fine in the master. Anyway, this promo video was done for only $500 with only two hours with her because she was getting on a plane that afternoon. It was meant for use only as a 30-second promotional clip for a Sony campaign (that's why nothing much happens in it), but I had the footage, so I extended it out to the length of the song. The video was shot at the beginning of September, so it was actually not cold at all, but quite warm. The winter coat is a prop and I added the snow that starts about halfway through in post-production (though you can't see it as well on YouTube). Everyone keeps asking the same questions over and over, so here are the answers to the common ones: • Yes, it's really her. • The video was shot in Toronto in September of 2006. Pigeon Hunting 100 Yards in 25mph Wind with Edgun Matador Air Rifle (Slow Motion)
This is Part 1 of a three-part series showing how to make long distance shots with an airgun in high wind. Part 2 shows the data you need and how to estimate it. Part 3 shows how to put that data to work using [free] ballistics software. Visit my channel page to see all three. This video was captured February 15, 2011 in rural Wisconsin. It shows me hunting pigeons with my .22 PCP air rifle in very high wind (20-30mph or 9-13m/s). This is part 1 of a two-part series re: this hunt. This first part will simply show the shots taken. The 2nd part will dive into the ballistics of how to make these kinds of shots, including how I use Chairgun Pro ballistics software to predict proper hold-over and windage. The gun used is an Edgun Matador .22 PCP air rifle, sighted in at 55 yards (50 meters). The scope is a Hawke Sidewinder 30 IR Tactical 6.5-20x (shooting @ 10x in this video). The pellets were JSB 18.1g, shooing @ 900fps (274m/s). Michael Jeffrey Jordan (born February 17, 1963) is a retired American professional basketball player and active businessman. 4AD and Jagjaguwar have collaborated on a live session that captures a truly unique Bon Iver performance, featuring Justin Vernon and Sean Carey. On recent tours fans will have become accustomed to seeing Vernon flanked by an eleven-piece band, with the swell in numbers lending a grandiose element to even his most delicate songs. Sidestepping expectations, the idea Vernon presented for this session was to provide a wildly different experience. Recorded in AIR Studio's Lyndurst Hall - a building that was originally a church and missionary school designed in 1880 by the great Victorian architect Alfred Waterhouse (designer of the Natural History Museum) - Vernon was joined only by Carey, with the pair positioning themselves opposite one another at two grand pianos. Although neither Justin nor Sean's first instrument is piano, they were able to remodel the songs in a way that showcases their complimentary vocals and, perhaps more strikingly, a seemingly effortless ability to experiment with form and structure. As such, fans are treated to jaw-dropping interpretations of several songs from both the new album and the 'Blood Bank' EP, as well as a cover of Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me". And interpretation is an apt word, as these songs are artfully abstracted from their original incarnations. Rather than layer the sound as on 'Bon Iver, Bon Iver', the focus is on paring back, in part evoking the minimalist approach of contemporary classical music, while remaining ...

Airbrush and Compressor Review (Haider Brush I, Effect Color Module Air)
I recently invested a fair bit of money into my hobby and bought an airbrush set. from a German store called Airbrush-Studio München. The airbrush is from the Taiwanese manufacturer Victor Air Tools and called AB-3 (rebranded as haider-brush I by the store). It's a simpified version of the Iawata HP-B Plus with it's 0.2mm nozzle and 1.8ml fixed paint cup. Good for details and small figures. The compressor automaticly shuts off between 3-4 bars, delivers 23l/min and fills a 3 liter tank. A manometer regulator water trap combination delivers pure air of the desired pressure.
