Deja vu
After a period of time trying to think differently and writing several screenplays for short films I finally found a small production-team to make an experimental short film with. We took one of those screenplays I wrote in 2006 which I lately completed and called "Déjà vu". And what you are about to see is "Déjà vu" an experimental short film made in 2010 in Graz, Austria. Apropos of sound, I would recommend enjoying it with good loudspeakers because I as a sound engineering student experimented several interesting things made as followed: 4 double basses (main film music) that are circling (using different panning and loudness) one by one in the whole film. All double basses one by one are deeply related with the film!, 5 voices will surprise you in the middle of the film at the moment of that girl's (Linda) thoughts which my camera man (Mario) calls "Sequence of Dream". The main voice is centered and resounded, the 4 other voices are LR--panned more or less, reverberated and edited carefully., Additionally, all other trifle sounds are also carefully processed for achieving a better dimension of image and sound. Well I think I exaggerated a little bit about all what I did for sound. Regarding what happens in whole history of the film I actually prefer to let you interpret it yourself!
