The Fairy Scientist
The Fairy Scientist was one of 9 finalists in the annual Project Reason Video contest. Voting is now closed and our little scientist did not win any of the three grand prizes. Oh well, the Nobel is still up for grabs. Children are natural scientists - filled with wonder and curiosity, they yearn to know about the world around them. Join Fairy Scientist, Lydia as she sets out to discover the secret world of Fairies. Lydia comes from a family of accomplished scientists; her grandfather is a PhD Oceanographer with NOAA and her great-grandfather is professor emeritus of Horticulture at Oregon State University. Lydia's father is an Electrical Engineer with Hewlett-Packard with numerous patents to his credit. Scientist, Lydia, is the granddaughter of "Andrus" producer/director, Robert Neary. Though she took a little direction from her director grandfather, her comments and observations are completely unscripted and entirely her own. Lydia's academic studies has her currently in the First Grade, but her inquisitiveness and curiosity show great promise in her achieving a notable scientific career.

Do you believe in fairies? Here is another Halloween makeup tutorial. This one is for the lazier (or busy) ones who don't want to spend too much on a costume look but still want to look effortlessly decent? Fairies are magical, whimsical and pretty. There are so many different types of fairies: dark fairies, forest fairies, wild fairies and so much more. I'm doing a whimsical fairy look. Inspired by floral life, this look is all about colourful eyes, golden lips and sparkly skin. Note: I filmed this look weeks ago when my skin was in poor condition. I had just returned from New York and was having trouble adapting to the 12 hour difference. I filmed this look at 8am whilst not sleeping for 30 hours so hope you guys don't mind the mega dry & bumpy skin and dark circles *_* We all get bad skin days right? Pink Fairies second Roundhouse reunion of 1975 - July 13th. The bill featured Pink Fairies, Stray, Radar Favourites and DJ Andy Dunkley. Pink Fairies line-up consisted of John 'Twink' Alder, Russell Hunter, Paul Rudolph, Duncan 'Sandy' Sanderson, and Larry Wallis. The original footage has been around for some years but the quality has obviously deteriorated having been transferred onto VHS at some point and finally digitalised.* The soundtracks are not synchronised with the film footage although they do derive from the relevant performances. * Tony Davdison (Tonal) out of Pink Fairies covers band Pink FA has shed light on the provenance of the footage - "the video you have on myspace was shot on 8mm by Geoff Eade,He showed me it in 1978 when I joined his band the infamous Drag Squad who released the equally infamous 'Operation Julie' 7" single.a singer very much in the Farren mould.In 1992 I remember this & for the reason of social history I get my mate to transfer it to video......Geoff & I thought of getting someone to put it out....UFO of Hanway Street came to mind as they had just released 'Syd's First Trip'....also silent....of course nowt could be done...so my mate Richard Clarke fronts the money & it sells about 10 copies!!........."

Black Sabbath - Fairies Wears Boots
Paranoid is the second album by the British heavy metal band Black Sabbath. It was released in the United Kingdom during September 1970, and contains some of their most famous work, including the songs "Iron Man", "War Pigs" and the title track. The album is regarded as a classic of the heavy metal genre and one of the most influental heavy metal albums. It has been certified 4x Platinum, having sold over four million copies in the US alone, making it Black Sabbath's best-selling album. After the release of their debut album in February 1970, Black Sabbath returned to the studio in June that year, again with producer Rodger Bain, to record their second album. The album was recorded at Regent Sound Studios and Island Studios in London, England. The album's eponymous single "Paranoid" was written in the studio at the last minute. As drummer Bill Ward explains: "We didn't have enough songs for the album, and Tony just played the [Paranoid] guitar lick and that was it. It took twenty, twenty-five minutes from top to bottom." In comparison with their previous album, the songs on Paranoid were given more focus and direction, with less improvisation. However the lyrical content is equally as dark, exploring themes such as war, mental illness, drug abuse and sci-fi horror. Much of the album could be viewed as a kind of social commentary. Absynth and Amethyst is a story of good and evil fairies, where a young woman named Amethyst struggles to find acceptance and love while going through emotional and physical changes. What is different about Amethyst is that her changes include her discovering that she is a fairy. We plan on creating a novel, graphic novel, screenplay and eventually a feature film. First up is the graphic novel. The money raised through kickstarter will be used to create the designs and images for the graphic novel. We can't wait for this project to come to fruition.
