i68.photobucket.com Above is an image of me loading my ski in the same spot just before the Chevy went in, it was slippery I'll tell you what. F150 pulls out stuck Chevy at New Hogan Lake. Chevy reversed into lake to load jet ski. Personally I believe he was trying to get attention by slamming into the lake, then was unable to pull back out of the water. Dodge was a little worried about breaking something pulling and then I offered to pull. I was watching as they were using ratchet straps to pull him out, one after the other they broke. I had plenty of nylon recovery straps, chains, shackles, etc which they ended up obviously needing so I gave them those. They were nice guys, and we've all been there before so I try to never decline help. Hope you all do the same. The F150 is a 1/2 ton, the other two trucks are 3/4+ ton.

The sign that hangs in the rear window says, "For Sale." Ford is hoping that this kid (or, more likely, his dad) will be selling this older mount in order to trade up to a newer F-150, perhaps a Lariat SuperCrew truck like ours. As recently as a year ago this would have been a safe bet. But the current reality suggests he's probably downsizing and moving out of the truck market entirely. After all, not everyone who wants to own a pickup truck really needs one. And this market is fast evolving into one of needs rather than wants.

NEW TRUCK: 2011 Ford F-150 FX-4 Ecoboost Walkaround, Tour, Review, Start up, Rev, Test drive
1st week was 500 miles. Wow what a truck! quiet ride, Less rocky suspension but no sacrafices. only gains! This one does not have 11300 LBS towing. But the 9000. does not have Tow Haul Larger mirrors. But we dont tow that anyway. used to own a boat. weighed 6K LBS. As of now only tow 2 snowmobiles from time to time. no more than 1800 LBS! does have Trailer brake control. On highway to merge has so much power. half the pedal down it FLYS! MPG readout was never reset. even off dealer lot. combined driving is around 18mpg as of the 1st break in week. I know I know, i crapped my pants, to but to answer a question that popped into my head instantly, "Is this thing able take the beating I can dish out, being a V6?"
