How TO: Apply FALSE EYELASHES tutorial
Video explains it all :) 1. Apply thin layer of liquid liner 3. Curl Lashes if you like 2. Apply mascara 3. Place drop of glue on lash container (Duo Surgical Glue is best, you can get it at MAC or any drugstore) 4. Use back of tweezers to apply thin layer of glue to lash band, concentrating on the ends 5. Wait 20 seconds or so for glue to become tacky 6. Apply just above lashline, make sure ends stick 7. Use tweezer back to push lashes on and down so they are close to lashline 8. Add line of liquid liner over lashband to cover any glue and make it look seemless :) **Sorry theres like a little bit of glue on the lashes midway, but the glue dries clear so you can't even see :)** **EYESHADOW LOOK IS IRON MAN :)**

HOW TO: KEEP YOUR EYELASHES CURLED Curling your lashes can make a huge difference to your eye makeup. The problem a lot of women face is that when they curl their lashes then apply mascara the curl drops out. Non waterproof mascaras are water based. So think about putting water into freshly curled hair. Its going to pull the curl out. Waterproof mascaras are oil based and will hold your curl much MUCH longer. The way i do it to ensure a lasting curl is to apply a small amount of WATERPROOF mascara to the lashes first. Its very important to note here that i said a VERY SMALL AMOUNT. If you load your lashes with mascara first then curl them you run the risk of them sticking to the eyelash curler or worst yet - pulling them out. To get bullet proof curled lashes do the following: Curl your lashes first. Depending the length of your lashes you might curl your eyelashes 1-3 times walking the eyelash curled along the lashes as you go. HOLD the curler in place for as long as you feel is necessary. The longer the curled is held the stronger the curl will last. Wipe the mascara wand off and apply a VERY SMALL AMOUNT of waterproof mascara to your lashes. Allow them to dry completely. Curl the lashes again. This time the curl will hold :) The final step is to apply your mascara - as much or as little as you like. Your eyelashes are now curled and loaded and they will stay that way for hours to come. NOTE: I know someone somewhere will be saying "you cannot curl your lashes after you ...
How To Apply Individual Fake Eyelashes
This is a beginners guide to applying individual fake lashes. Its part of a series of two films, the other being a beginners guide to strip lashes I will upload that one tomorrow. Individual lashes give a very different feel to strip lashes because they are less uniform so the effect is more random, feathery and natural looking. You can achieve different effects depending on how many you apply and which lengths you use. I love using them on my clients and myself and hope these application tips will inspire you to give them a go too. To remove, soak a cotton wool pad in eye make-up remover and hold flat over your eye firmly for several seconds. The remover will loosen and dissolve the glue. ENJOY! you can purchase these lashes at Walmart, walgreens, or cvs. lashes i used: +salon perfect demi wispies Alternative: +ardell demi wispies +YES, i wear fake eyelashes EVERYDAY. rain or shine! +I DO TAKE OFF my lashes at night. +a set of lashes can last me up to 1 1/2 month. not too sanitary...but it does! +YES, i do stack my lashes everytime i purchase them. so if you count..i wear 4 eyelashes everyday = 2 pairs. =D +a tube of lash glue can last me up to 3 months. +i remove my lashes by wetting a q-tip with makeup remover & rubbing it on the base of my lashes. the water loosens up the eyelash glue. +I dont do anything to preserve my lashes, besides-when you reuse your lashes the next day or whenever..be sure to peel off the excess glue that was left over from the last time your used your eyelashes. As another way this tip is helpful is if you are working on an elaborate look and your not great or confident enough to apply the lashes you Get half lashes Cut a full band in half Using the smaller end for a more natural look or the longer end for drama If you would like to use the full band and are unsure if you can apply them take the full band and cut them into three sections Apply them starting from either end of your eye just not in the middle! VVV PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION VVV Paper eyelashes are a gorgeous way to add a unique twist to your eyes. Unfortunately, because they're made of paper, they're also very fragile. :( And if you're a broke college student like me, you might not want to spend almost $20 on something you might only get to wear once. So I decided to create a tutorial to show you how you can make your own paper eyelashes. I know that the look I created with the lashes is a very dramatic one, but that's because Halloween's coming up! And this is the beauty of making your own designs; if you want a more toned-down look, you can make a toned-down look. :) SUPPLIES: = Black permanent marker = Precision cutting tool. You can use a surgical scalpel or an artist cutting tool. Both can be found online for under $10. I spoke to one of Blick's customer service reps and she recommended the X-Acto Econo Swivel Knife (www.dickblick.com for this project. = White paper. You can use any paper that isn't too thick. Your lashes have to look delicate, so things like cardboard or Bristol paper won't cut it. But before you decide to start this project, however, please weigh the pros and cons of making your own: Pros: = Although you do need to purchase some materials, in the long run, it's MUCH cheaper than buying a set. = If you draw your own lashes, you can tailor them to your personality and make them just how you want them =) Cons: = This is a very time-consuming process. See my website www.beautypassion.co.uk Eyelash extensions are applied on one-to-one basis where one fake eyelash is applied to one of your eyelashes, therefore making it look longer and fuller. Applying eyelashes do not cause any damage to your natural eyelashes, however if you remove them unprofessionally you can damage your natural eyelashes. If you have done your eyelashes with me i will be more than happy to remove them for free. The life cycle of one natural eyelash is approximately 3 months, during this period lash grows and naturally falls out. Fake eyelash can fall out with your natural eyelash or fall out on it's own without affecting your natural eyelash. Upon regular maintenance and looking after your eyelashes correctly they can last for two months, but this is very individual depending on how you look after your eylashes, the curl of your natural lash and the legth of the fake lash (Very occasionally, some extremely curled natural lashes are unsuitable for lash extensions.) The procedure lasts approximatelly 2 hours for full set, from 20 min to 1 hr for maintenance and approximately 1 hr for half set. Procedure is very relaxing and many clients find themselves sleeping... 1) Individual eyelash extensions can last from 3 weeks to 6 weks (some lashes will fall out now and then but otherwise with correct care they will look great for 3 weeks after that you may begin to notice that ...
How to apply Eyelash Extensions
This is a short video on how to apply eyelash extensions. These last up to a month, depending how you take care of them. The procedure, as you will see in this video is very intricate and detailed work which takes a lot of patience and a steady hand. I always start off by getting my client to lay on the massage bed and get comfortable while I prepare the eye safe surgical tape. This tape plays a very important factor in the eyelash extensions because without it, you won't be able to open your eyes! I apply the strips of tape on the bottom eyelashes to separate the top and bottom hairs from getting glued together. Then I apply an eye prep solution on to a q-tip, and gently clean the eyelashes with the solution so the eyelashes are clean and the glue can adhere better. I then shake the eyelash glue, and drop a dollop of it on to my glass plate (this keeps the glue cool). Pick up your utensils and a false eyelash (once you have chosen the correct size for your client) and dip it in the glue... then glide it on top of your client's natural eyelash. Keep doing this until you have covered all of the eyelashes. Once you have finished, dry the glue with an air blower pump, and apply a coating mascara (a special brand that comes with the eyelash glue) to seal the eyelash glue. Get your client to open their eyes and gently remove the tape. Have you client look in the mirror and see the difference! Hope this helped! Have fun...
