Ryon Lovette - Equation

Lyrics if you didn`t catch the wording: Couldn't help to notice you standing in the hall way. Tears rolling down your face, girl. I heard him tell you that he was sorry for breaking up with you But you're way to beautiful to cry. Soon as he walked away, I came up from behind. I told you a joke to make you laugh. I'm nothing like him girl, you do the math. (Chorus) Me plus you, I'll take that number. Multiply your smile, minus the drama. Give me a fraction of your heart. I'll solve your problems. Now put that together. We make up a perfect equation, equation, equation. Me and you make up a perfect equation, equation, equation. Me and you make up a perfect equation. And you can count on me. Forget about your past. I'll always put you first, never put you last. Girl, you're my absolute value. Have no fears, I'm here to save you. Promise I won't change, I won't play those games. Even when it rains, my feelings they stay the same. Put me to the test I haven't failed yet. Trust me I'll pass girl, just do the math cause. (Me and you make up a perfect equation) You deserve the best, nothing less from me. Hold your hand, open doors, treat you like a lady. All your dreams ...

Solving Two Step Equations - YourTeacher.com - Algebra Help

For a complete lesson on solving two step equations, go to www.yourteacher.com - 1000+ online math lessons featuring a personal math teacher inside every lesson! In this lesson, students learn to solve equations in which the variable term has a coefficient other than 1. To solve the equations in this lesson, the first step is to isolate the term that contains the variable on one side of the equation, and the second step is to change the coefficient of the variable term to a 1. For example, in the equation 3x + 5 = 11, the first step is to subtract 5 from both sides of the equation to isolate the term that contains the variable, to get 3x = 6. Next, since x is being multiplied by 3, divide both sides by 3 to get x = 2.

Solving Quadratic Equations by Factoring - YourTeacher.com

For a complete lesson on solving quadratic equations by factoring, go to www.yourteacher.com - 1000+ online math lessons featuring a personal math teacher inside every lesson! In this lesson, students learn to solve quadratic equations by the method of their choice, using the following rules. If possible, use the factoring method. If there is no coefficient on the squared term, and the middle term of the trinomial is even, use completing the square. If there is a coefficient on the squared term, and if the middle term is odd, use the quadratic formula. If the variable only appears in the squared term, get the variable by itself on one side of the equation and square root both sides.

Writing Linear Equations - YourTeacher.com - Algebra Help

For a complete lesson on writing linear equations, go to www.yourteacher.com - 1000+ online math lessons featuring a personal math teacher inside every lesson! In this lesson, students learn to write the equation of a line in slope-intercept form using the graph of the line. In some problems, the graph is given, and in other problems, the graph must be drawn (using given information about points and slope). Since slope intercept form is the same thing as y = mx + b form, where m represents the slope and b represents the y-intercept, the next step is to use the graph to find the slope and y-intercept of the line. To find the slope, use the ratio rise over run between any two points on the given line. To find the y-intercept, remember that the y-intercept is the point where the line crosses the y-axis. Finally, substitute the values for the slope, m, and y-intercept, b, into the formula y = mx + b to write the equation of the line.

Writing the Equation of a Line - YourTeacher.com - Algebra Help

For a complete lesson on writing the equation of a line, go to www.yourteacher.com - 1000+ online math lessons featuring a personal math teacher inside every lesson! In this lesson, students learn to write the equation of a line in slope-intercept form using a table of ordered pairs. The first step is to determine if the ordered pairs in the table lie on a line, so that slope-intercept form, or y = mx + b form, can be used to write the equation of the line. If the rate of change is constant, then the ordered pairs lie on a line. Next, to find the slope of the line, remember that the rate of change is equal to the slope. To find the y-intercept, substitute the slope in for m in the formula y = mx + b, and substitute a given ordered pair in the table for x and y in the formula, then solve for b. Finally, substitute the values for m and b into the formula y = mx + b to write the equation of the line.

For a complete lesson on solving absolute value equations, go to www.yourteacher.com - 1000+ online math lessons featuring a personal math teacher inside every lesson! In this lesson, students learn that when solving an absolute value equation, such as 2 + I x + 1 I = 8, the first step is to isolate the absolute value by subtracting 2 from both sides to get I x + 1 I = 6. The next step is to split the equation up into two separate equations in the following way x + 1 = 6 or x + 1 = -6. Notice that in the second equation, the 6 becomes negative. Finally, the last step is to solve each of the remaining equations to get x = 5 or x = -7.

14. Maxwell's Equations and Electromagnetic Waves I

Fundamentals of Physics, II (PHYS 201) Waves on a string are reviewed and the general solution to the wave equation is described. Maxwell's equations in their final form are written down and then considered in free space, away from charges and currents. It is shown how to verify that a given set of fields obeys Maxwell's equations by considering them on infinitesimal cubes and loops. A simple form of the solutions is assumed and the parameters therein fitted using Maxwell's equations. The wave equation follows, along with the wave speed equal to that of light (3 x 10^8), suggesting (correctly) that light is an electromagnetic wave. The vector relationship between the electric field, the magnetic field and the direction of wave propagation is described. 00:00 - Chapter 1. Background 04:43 - Chapter 2. Review of Wave Equation 20:01 - Chapter 3. Maxwell's Equations 56:47 - Chapter 4. Light as an Electromagnetic Wave Complete course materials are available at the Open Yale Courses website: open.yale.edu This course was recorded in Spring 2010.
