Made this when i was bored. the 3d was done in cinema 4d and compositing in After Effects. the depth of field effect was done using a depth of field map using After Effect's "Lens Blur". I would have done the dof in Cinema 4D but it was too flickery, besides, after effects offered a lot more flexibility and control. I will cover this in an upcoming tutorial. Thanks for watching

Sam Flynn is the son of famous video game creator and digital pioneer Kevin Flynn. He was born in 1982. His mother passed away unexpectedly in 1985, leaving Sam and Kevin. In 1989, Sam's father was on the verge of a major discovery when he disappeared with no trace, leaving Sam's grandparents to take care of him. Legally, Sam is the largest shareholder of ENCOM, the company his dad worked for, but he doesn't want any of the stock. He lives modestly with his pet dog in a shipping container reconstituted into a home on the river with a beautiful view of the city and the Encom building itself.

This is the complete version of the "Tron: Legacy"/Flynn Lives ARG (Alternate Reality Game) viral event that was staged at Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco on 4/2/10 (here in two parts - running approximately 20 minutes in length total) - link to part two: www.youtube.com The majority of the video consists of footage I shot - and also includes some select footage courtesy of flynnlives.com - including the teaser trailer for the Space Paranoids video game - so as to broaden the narrative. I edited the footage together to reflect the chronological order of the events - and added select musical tracks and sound effects to enhance the overall presentation: elements of the 1982 "Tron" Original Motion Picture Soundtrack are featured, including Journey's track: "1990's Theme" - as well as Daft Punk's "Tron" inspired song "Robot Rock".

Tron Legacy Encom Press Conference Gets Invaded! - San Francisco Wondercon 2010
This evening, Disney had a rather special treat for all of us here at Wondercon. They arranged for Alan Bradley to come out and give a special announcement. The presentation was staged outdoors on the bay where a huge stage was set up with hundreds if lights and an LED jumbotron. I videoed the whole event and I've cut it down to a nice 10 minute version for you so I could upload it into YouTube. Stay tuned for the end and keep looking in the sky! My apologies for the shaky video camera at points, it was rather cold!! Apparently the event didn't go compeltely to plan (we think because of the weather) but I thoroughly enjoyed it and I think the majorty of people there did too.
