On the opening day (8th June 1989) Mikoyan test pilot Anatoly Kvochur was making a demonstration flight in the single-seater Mig-29 '303' Blue. During the high-alpha/low-speed pass at 160m (525ft) that was to conclude the Fulcrum's aerobatic display, the starborad engine surged, belching a sheet of flame. Kvochur immediately selected full afterburner for the working engine; however at 180km/h (111mph) he had insufficient rudder and ailereon authority to counter the trust asymmetry and the result was inevitably an irrecoverable departure. The engine failed at 13hrs 44mins 57sec; the stricken fighter immediately yawed and rolled to starboard, the nose "falling through" until the aircraft entered a vertical dive at 13:45:01. 2.5 seconds later Kvochur ejected at 92m (302ft) after making sure that the aircraft would not hit the spectators. At 13:45:05 the fighter hit the ground beside the runway erupting into a fireball. The pilot landed a mere 30m (98ft) from the wreckage, the ejection seat impacted right next to him. To give a credit where credit is due, the airport's rescue & firefighting team was on the scene 55 seconds after the crash. Kvochur was rushed to hospital, but was released the same day with nothing worse than bruises and a cut above his right eyebrow from the oxygen mask. Indeed he had been extremely lucky as he had ejected oustide the seat's operating envelope, not to mention the proximity of the fireballs and the falling ejection seat. Yet the incident spoke ...

This video was shot in May 2009 by Pedro Hernandez, who saw the UFO while looking out a bus window. A second video later surfaced from a different vantage point by Alfredo Carrillo. As the UFO rapidly spun, it released countless orbs, which danced around the craft! Mexico City has an abnormally high rate of UFO sightings, but a recording of this kind is still a rare occurrence. The footage of this beautiful and strange aerial dance has been analyzed by Jamie Maussan and his staff and has been described as some of the most amazing and credible footage of a UFO event he has seen to date! so im sitting courtside(bottom left hand corner of the screen in a gray shirt) at the golden state warriors vs los angeles clippers fixed NBA game . The referee, joe forte(#45), is about to inbound the ball to the clippers Al Thornton. You will notice a long delay in getting the ball inbounded because the referee is having a conversation with me(actually im just yelling at him) about the over/under for the game (which happened to be 218 combined points by both teams). [the shot cuts away to baron davis] Referees response:"What did you say?" Me(slightly intoxicated): MAKE SURE THE GAMES OVER 218 points. THE OVER. THE OVER. THE OVER. referee(with no hesitation): THATS NOT FUNNY!THATS NOT FUNNY!YOUR OUTTA HERE!! Next, he repeatedly blows his whistle and signals for a red suited security guard to eject me from the game! then the nba lead security questions me in the tunnel for about 10 minutes and writes a report for league officials to investigate. he then takes my tickets and orders 10 security guards to throw me out of the arena immediately(which is not shown on camera).
