Yes, it's true! Here is rough video of Team Hall & Nass on the side of the road, making some "redneck repairs" to their 2009 Corvette ZHZ taillight that blew out of the car at 145 MPH on Day One of the 2010 Dustball Rally. This is a classic Dustball moment at it's finest! Cameos of Team Apex Phantom, Team Flo Mo Camaro, Team Burnout Radio, Team Hazmatt, Team Costa Tron and more can be found within. While we are in the process of editing over 130 GB of video from the 1500+ miles of the 2010 Dustball Rally, we thought we'd go ahead and share a few rough, unedited, uncut videos with y'all to whet your appetites. Here is the first in that rough cut batch. There is a LOT more (and better) footage coming soon. SPH simulation of a high porosity (85%) dust ball hitting a solid surface with 0.2 m/s and bouncing off. The coefficient of restitution of an analogous lab experiment was reproduced by the simulation.
