FULL DeFranco Does Dublin Show!!! (A nice alternative to Finals ;)
HEYA READ THIS! First off I would like to thank the lovely people of Ireland for coming out and supporting something I had never tried before and making it SO DAMN AMAZING. I have never performed or had a show before so to test this idea in front of 2000+ people was amazing and life changing. As a side note we originally planned to have this on DVD, and/or Netflix but I really wanted to share this with the ENTIRE NATION instead of just trying to make a profit on it (All ads on this video are there to help pay for the cost of crew, editors, venue, etc). We live in this weird economic time, in a weird entertainment medium, and I don't want to keep cool shit from people just because they don't have the money to spend. NOW if you do have the cash, you liked this, and you do want to help support the show and a possible DeFranco Does tour, just get some PhillyD Merch at ForHumanPeoples.com And last things. 1. To really enjoy this select to watch this in 480p and let it load for a little bit and watch it full screen. 2. Keep in mind it was my first time performing so be gentle :-p 3. Yes I am that fat. At this point in the European trip I had gained 15 lbs. mmmm delicious european food and beer.... 4. Where would you like the next "DeFranco Does" show to be next? 5. Love yo faces!!! -Philip DeFranco

Dublin's Fair City - 1988
A video presentation of Dublin in it's 1000th year in 1988. A video directed & produced by Michael Mooney (my late father) & sponsored by Philips Electronics Ireland to showcase their new 'VidiWall' technology. It was narrated by a man named Lar Redmond and the soundtrack was composed by two gentleman named Paul Murphy & Barry Grace (Ear Two Ear). Photographic work was done by Arthur Browne. Other credits follow the video at the end. It was shown in St. Andrew's Church on St. Andrew's Street, Dublin 2 for some months to celebrate Dublin's millennium status. It was a very popular tourist attraction. Dublin was a very different city in 1988. Pay particular notice to the differences in the helicopter aerial footage at the beginning of the video of Dublin's Docklands from the Dublin we know in 2012. It brings very nostalgic feelings for me and I hope it does for you too! My father was very proud of his hard work to make this video, as were his wife & children. I hope it'll be a fun video for you to watch now. Thanks.

#OccupyDameStreet 8th Oct 2011
And so it begins. This is some of the speeches at the open mic earlier as #occupydamestreet began outside the Irish Central Bank in Dublin's city center. Lets start bringing it. We look back across history to those who abolished slavery, fought for human dignity, fought against colonialism and patriarchy. We are humans against capitalism and exploitation. We stand with all those across the globe resisting oppression and the imposition of economic and social violence in our lives. We recognise no authority that cannot and will not seek to justify itself. We come will love care and solidarity We are the 99%. This is a war on our lives, but we will fight back with our hearts, bodies and minds. And we will win.

Dublin Airport Plane Spotting - Aer Lingus, Ryanair, Air France, Etihad Aer Arann - Irish Aviation
Filmed on 28 October 2011, this video contains some shots of aircraft at Dublin Airport, including a first for me, the Air France Beoing 747F - this being the first time I'd seen a 747 at Dublin. Also included are the usual visitors including Aer Lingus, Aer Arann Regional (Aer lingus regional), Etihad, Ryanair and a few more in the titles. This was only a fleeting visit as our trip was to Galway and we decided to drive over to Dublin to see what the journey was like, having always flown it in the past. The answer was, very long! and surprisingly expensive due to all the tolls along the route. That coupled with food poisioning on the trip didn't make for an altogether happy experience!!

Ireland 2006 Dublin
Dublin 2006 Dublin is the capital city of Ireland and is a beautiful old city, but it is growing fast. We hope that it keeps it old charm while becoming a modern cosmopolitan city. This was the second visit to Dublin for Adele and I, the first for Mike. We got from Dalkey to Dublin by the Dart Line getting off at the Tara Station which is in walking distance from O'Connell Street. The best way to get around Dublin to most of the different sites is the Hop-on Hop-off Tour Bus. Some of the sites we visited are on other Slideshows like Kilmainham Prison, Guinness Brewery, Dublin Castle, Christ Church, and St. Patrick Cathedral. We also visited Trinity College with its Book of Kells and the National Museum of Ireland both do not allow picture taking, but are must sees on any visit to Dublin.
Discovering Dublin, Ireland. Dublin, Ireland Travel Video PostCard
www.discoverireland.com http Dublin, Ireland, is a world class city without the attitude. And so, welcome to Dublin, Ireland =, a city so rich in literary history, one wonders how it happened Directed by Mitchel Elling, this Dublin, Ireland,Travel Video PostCard presents the exciting city of Dublin, Ireland as unpretentious and accessible. From the start, Dublin is a wonderfully built city. Dublin is situated near the midpoint of Ireland's east coast, at the mouth of the River Liffey, and at the centre of the Dublin Region. Dublin, Ireland, is designed on a human scale, a place for people, not for huge, anonymous high-rise buildings. The streets, the cafes, the museums, pubs of Dublin, Ireland are all accessible and easy to walk to. I skipped down the stairs of our hotel, the Mont Clare, in fairly fashionable Merrion Square in Dublin on a pharmacy mission. I turned the corner, passed an antiquated, rather haphazard shop typical of Dublin, Ireland and stopped. A white-thatched, distinguished gentleman was sitting behind a counter, reading out loud to a few customers. I stopped to listen. It turns out this was the pharmacy I was looking for: Sweny's. Here in a 12 by 14 foot space, the gentleman reader, was one PJ Murphy reading from James Joyce's Ulysses! To his customers. This is Dublin. New Media Travel (www.newmediatravel.com) and Travel Video PostCard (http think Dublin is a terrific city to photograph. On the counter of Sweny's were bars of lemon soap, because this was ...
Waiting for Dublin
On New Year's Eve 1944, American pilot Mike Clarke inadvertently bets Al Capone's nephew $10000 that he can shoot down five enemy aircrafts. Later, forced to land near a remote village in Ireland after running out of fuel, Mike learns that he is cut off from the rest of the world with no way to rejoin the war and shoot down his fifth plane, which is the only way he can win the bet and save his own life. With nowhere to go, he eventually befriends the colorful villagers and meets a fiery red-head named Maggie who shows this pilot that combat can take place on the ground just as well as in the air. It doesn't take long for Mike and Maggie to grow close as she helps him figure out how to win his bet while winning her heart in the process.
Rocky road to Dublin (Sherlock Holmes soundtrack)
Nice song that you can hear in the movie Sherlock Holmes hope you like it LYRICS In the merry month of May, From my home I started, Left the girls of Tuam, Nearly broken hearted, Saluted father dear, Kissed my darlin' mother, Drank a pint of beer, My grief and tears to smother, Then off to reap the corn, And leave where I was born, I cut a stout blackthorn, To banish ghost and goblin, In a brand new pair of brogues, I rattled o'er the bogs, And frightened all the dogs,On the rocky road to Dublin. One, two, three, four five, Hunt the hare and turn her Down the rocky road And all the ways to Dublin, Whack-fol-lol-de-ra. In Mullingar that night, I rested limbs so weary, Started by daylight, Next mornin' light and airy, Took a drop of the pure, To keep my heart from sinkin', That's an Irishman's cure, Whene'er he's on for drinking. To see the lasses smile, Laughing all the while, At my curious style, 'Twould set your heart a-bubblin'. They ax'd if I was hired, The wages I required, Till I was almost tired, Of the rocky road to Dublin. In Dublin next arrived, I thought it such a pity, To be so soon deprived, A view of that fine city. Then I took a stroll, All among the quality, My bundle it was stole, In a neat locality; Something crossed my mind, Then I looked behind; No bundle could I find, Upon my stick a wobblin'. Enquirin' for the rogue, They said my Connacht brogue, Wasn't much in vogue, On the rocky road to Dublin. From there I got away, My spirits never failin' Landed ...
