The End of an Odyssey - Hyatt Regency New Orleans
Digital Bayou created this video for the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, which premiered on Saturday, March 10, 2012 during the "A Night to Make It Right" Charity Gala. The two-minute video tells the story of the Hyatt's remarkable transformation since Hurricane Katrina, and explains why General Manager Michael Smith approached the Make It Right Foundation with the idea for such an ambitious event. After Mayor Mitch Landrieu opened the evening and co-hosts Ellen DeGeneres and Drew Brees welcomed over 1200 Make It Right supporters, "The End of an Odyssey" played in front of the sold-out crowd. Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Rihanna, Sheryl Crow, Randy Jackson, Seal, Wendell Pierce, and many others attended the event, which has been described as the single greatest night of fundraising in New Orleans. The award-winning video was conceived, produced and delivered by Digital Bayou in less than two weeks leading up to the gala, which also celebrated the grand re-opening of the Hyatt Regency New Orleans.
