The challenge costs $25 and winners receive a free t-shirt along with a framed picture up on the Wall of Fame with the Big Kahuna trophy. The Top Kahuna is the person that finishes the challenge with the fastest time. The current record was only 10 minutes & 55 seconds. There is also another challenge! If you can eat all 14 specialty hot dogs in less than 42 minutes, you get to name & create a 15th hot dog for the menu!! A surfing dog? Dogs digging sand onto a girl's towel? Dogs play in the sand on the ocean at dog-friendly Huntington Beach, California. Took Suya out to practice for the Helen Woodward Dog Surfing competition tonight, it was her first time surfing tandem with either of us and she did pretty good! She still hasn't learned not to run up to the nose and pearl the board when she's surfing solo, but it's honestly more fun surfing tandem with her anyways! Not too bad for a 1 year old pup!
