HD version available at cargocollective.com The earliest recorded version of the song produced as a John Peel Session for the BBC in 1979.The original band footage is a mixture of a performance video shot by the band for the single release (minus the damaged shots) and live concert excerpts from Plank, Brussels and the Apollo, Manchester. . We needed to do some tricky retiming and editing to sync it up with the footage which is from completely different versions of the song. Odd to discover that much of the original performance video done for the single release wasn't edited properly with much of the shots of the band playing not cut accurately to the audio.

How to Do Long Division

How to Do Long Division --------------------------------------------------------------------- The first step in long division is to set up the problem correctly. If the problem is 3348 divided by 4, the first number (the dividend) goes inside the division sign. The second number (the divisor) goes on the left of the division sign. Next, you want to figure out how many times the divisor goes into the dividend by looking at one digit at a time. Does 4 go into 3? No. Include the next digit of the dividend. Does 4 go into 33? Yes, 4 goes into 33 8 times. Write that number, 8, above the second digit. Now multiply the divisor (4) times 8 to get 32, and write that below the first two digits. Subtract the second number (32) from the first one (33) and write the answer (1) below. Continue the problem by bringing down the next digit of the dividend, which is 4. This makes a 14 at the bottom of the equation. Now figure out how many times the divisor (4) goes into 14. Write the answer (3) above the third digit of the dividend. Multiply the divisor (4) times 3 to get 12, and write that below the 14. Subtract 12 from 14 like you did before with the 32 and 33. This gives you 2. Then bring down the fourth digit, 8, to make 28 at the bottom. Find how many times the divisor (4) goes into 28. Long Division: How to Teach it Step-by-Step
Follow these steps to teach long division. In step #1, students use long division to divide numbers with digits that are evenly divisible by the divisor, such as 963 / 3 or 4082 / 2. In step #2, students divide numbers with a remainder in the ones (units), such as 965 / 3 or 4085 / 2, thus learning the process of "multiply & subtract" for finding the remainder. In step #3, the remainder is in the tens (for example 87 / 3 or 95 / 5). Lastly, students use long division to divide longer numbers, where there are remainders in any place value.
