Pleiades - Venus Conjunction timelapse star trails V11009
Enjoy this compilation of several interesting views filmed during the recent Pleiades - Venus Conjunction as seen from Santa Clarita, California. These timelapse videos were made from sequences of individual still images shot with a Canon 5D Mk2, and composited using a number of proprietary methods developed by JCM Digital Imaging. This finished production features image sequences filmed on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of April, 2012. The moon makes a few appearances too, although quite a bit over-exposed. Venus Jupiter and Moon Conjunction HD Timelapse Star Trails 2-25-2012
Here are a few interesting views of this astonomical event in high definition timelapse, including composited star trails using techniques developed by JCM Digital Imaging. Filmed with a Canon 5D Mk2 and 17mm-40mm wide angle f/4.0L lens from Santa Clarita, CA. Images were taken every 8 seconds using a 7-second exposure at f4 and ISO4000 to capture all the stars visible in this somewhat light-polluted area.
