Dickey Betts, the author of such classics as 'Blue Sky', 'Ramblin' Man, 'In Memory of Elizabeth Reed', 'Jessica', 'Southbound' and many others, is a co-founder of one of the greatest rock bands ever assembled - The Allman Brothers Band. Christian Bale as Dickey in "The Fighter" Emotional Deleted Scene
Here's a very powerful deleted scene from the Oscar Nominated film The Fighter in which Dicky Eklund, played by Christian Bale, tries to walk out of prison after watching the television airing of the disastrous crack documentary. Even though the scene never made it into the movie it packs a power punch of emotion, and shows another great performance by Bale in the film who won and Oscar for his role.
