When I uploaded this in 2008 YouTube did not support higher quality videos and their official documentation called for videos at 320x240 which is why this is lower quality. There will probably not be as higher quality version released as it would require using FRAPS to re-record everything in proper HD. I decided to go back and remake my original video of this using some new ideas I had. This video also includes my own version of the Portal ending credits. Amazing Magnetic Device!

You have to place the special magnetic disc that comes with the unit, inside of the objects you want to float. The device I'm using in this video is the Levitron Revolution. Normally you are supposed to place an object on top of the magnetic disc. Obviously you can have a lot of fun doing that and get great results but I wanted to take it a step further by hiding the disc inside what ever object I was trying to float. To see the object floating "by itself" just gives a much more dramatic feel. To float the rubiks cube, I had to drill out a hole in the cube big enough for the disc to fit in. I felt really bad destroying a rubiks cube but I thought the final result was worth it.

But in Japan, a neuro-technology company is taking serious brainwave science and turning it into fun. In Tokyo, they're all ears for the latest in hi-tech fashion. The headware is called "Necomimi" - or cat ears in Japanese. And it doubles as a communication device. Necomimi can be controlled by the wearer's thoughts and emotions. Necomimi was created by a company called Neurowave. They're using basic, non-invasive neuroimaging technologies and adapting them for the fashion world. Apart from the ears, Necomimi has two brain-wave sensors that can read the emotions of the wearer. Red brain waves show nervousness or concentration. Green waves indicate a relaxed state of mind. The ears shoot up when the wearer is nervous or focused. They flatten when the wearer is relaxed. When a person is relaxed but also focussed on a specific activity like a game or reading a book, the ears swirl around in a circle. When brain activity is low, the ears just flap gently back and forth. One of the creators of Nekomimi says she wanted to come up with a communication device that could be enjoyed by everyone. On Thursday, well-known French iOS hacker Pod2g joined the party and revealed that he had managed to run the untethered jailbreak on the new iPad running on iOS 5.1. The announcement came a week after the hacker had told his Twitter followers that he successfully ran iOS 5.1 untethered jailbreak on his iPhone 4. Pod2g said that he was "stabilizing the payload" method, and once he was done with that, he would try to jailbreak the new iPad on iOS 5.1.1, which is the most recent version of iOS released till date. "Hey. iPad 3,1 running iOS 5.1 untethered. Next on the list: stabilizing the payload, then trying 5.1.1," Pod2g tweeted. The hacker also uploaded a demo video of the untethered jailbreak in action on his blog. The video (can be found at the end) shows an iPad 3 running Cydia and going through a reboot. Matias One Keyboard with Bluetooth link for iOS devices for Mac/PC
The Matias One is a desktop USB keyboard with built-in Bluetooth functionality. The wireless feature allows the keyboard to pair with a mobile device for text input. The keyboard also offers a small rubber holder to position an iPhone or other smartphone right on the keyboard. The idea here is while working you can do text input to your iPhone by pressing the iPhone button, which then disables keyboard input into the computer. When pressed again, the keyboard goes back into computer mode. A pretty cool idea where essentially you can integrate your iPhone into your workflow without having to pick it up. The keyboard also features a USB 2.0 hub, Mac-specific key layout, and special character labels. The key switch design is rubber dome switches, which are quiet but still responsive. Matias is also working on Tactile Pro mechanical version, plus a smaller Slim model. How To Install Samsung S-Voice On Any Android 4.0 Device
Here's a little video telling ya where and how to download and install the new Samsung S-Voice virtual assistant found on the new and still unreleased (at the time of this post) Samsung Galaxy S3. Here's the .zip S-Voice File: docs.google.com Here's the .apk labeled "voicetalk" but its the S-voice .apk: docs.google.com Here's the original post at XDA where i got these files from, it has all the instructions on how to install and change permissions with the .apk file method: forum.xda-developers.com For me the .zip worked the best because i didn't have to change any permissions. I did however have to have to go into app manager and force stop, then clear data and then re-launch the app for it too work. Have fun and good luck =)
