I wrote this song for this girl who was gonna have a band and she was gonna call it Rocket Queen. She kinda kept me alive for a while. The last part of the song is my message to this person, or anybody else who can get something out of it. It's like there's hope and a friendship note at the end of the song. For that song there was also something I tried to work out with various people—a recorded sex act. Eve of Destruction was written by 19-year-old songwriter PF Sloan in 1965 and eventually became Barry McGuire's one and only big Billboard chart hit song. The song is a grave warning of imminent apocalypse, and considered by some to be the epitome of a protest song. A massive classical battle designed to either give you a seizure or an eye-gasm. 2 Huge battles were recorded, one with the dragons and the other one without. I did this because the dragons were incredibly overpowered, even with the dragon settings set to normal. They also had that spell that made everything really shiny, so i wanted to record the battle again without it. I decided to post parts of both.
