Davidian - Machine Head (Drum Cover with footcam)
A video of Machine Head's energetic "Davidian" which originally featured Chris Kontos on the drums. This recording was made using the backing track from Rhythm magazine - issue 185, my own transcription from the original track and a whole load of sweat! Of all the videos I have done so far this has proved to be the most difficult and made me realise how old I'm getting. There are more errors than I would like but until such a time comes when I can spend hours exercising my double bass drum technique then it will have to do. I'd forgotten how hard it was trying to keep a double kick pedal accurate at this kind of speed. I also had to adjust the setup of the kit and seat height slightly to adjust for balance and control issues so if you're someone who is struggling with double bass drumming it may be worth turning your attention to your stool! If you would like to have a go at the track then the transcription will be available to download free from my website in the coming months so keep an eye out for that. Machine Head - Davidian
Machine Head is an American heavy metal band from Oakland, California, formed in 1992. Founded by singer and guitarist Robb Flynn and bassist Adam Duce, there have been only 4 personnel changes since its inception. The current lineup of the band comprises Flynn (vocals, guitar), Duce (bass), Phil Demmel (guitar), and Dave McClain (drums). Machine Head is one of the pioneering bands in the New Wave of American Heavy Metal. Machine Head was formed by member Robb Flynn, previously part of the bands Forbidden and Vio-lence. Flynn felt musically unfulfilled with Vio-lence and requested to start a side project. When his request was denied, he left the band and formed Machine Head in 1992 with Adam Duce, Logan Mader and Tony Constanza. Though the band's first album, Burn My Eyes, was a big success in Europe where it garnered attention on MTV's Headbangers Ball, but in America (with HBB taken off the air during the grunge movement) Machine Head would not have success until later albums.

Mr. Fatta was 100 miles away in Austin Texas when the siege started on February 28, 1993. He was never inside Mt. Carmel during the whole 51 days. The government used him to get their "Pound of Flesh". This video was recorded on April 19, 2010, at the 17th annual memorial service for the citizens and agents that died between February 28 and April 19, 1993. This was the first time Mr. Fatta has spoken about his incarceration since that tragic day due to a gag order being placed on him.

Burn my Eyes is an awesome album and has got two other Machine Head favourites of mine on it - Old, and None But My Own. Both 'killer', as Dave McClain would say...(maybe!). As ever, I'm going into a Diezel Einstein head on Channel 1 (Mode 3), and am recording straight into the computer using a Line 6 Studio UX2. What really happened at Waco who was involved?! What happened at Waco in 1993 was atrocious ordered and engineered by Janet Reno and Illuminati and co. Yes, David Koresh was crazy but he did not molest those children. 82 Branch Davidians were murdered. According to the Posse Comatatus Statute that has been enacted since 1878 clearly states that it is illegal for the Government to call on any military entity to borrow tanks or use soldiers against civilian affairs unless their is drug interdiction which in this case their was NOT; So the Constitution was violated. The FBI obtained a search warrant on a technicality simply on the premise that David Koresh illegally possessed an automatic firearm so they were able to obtain a warrant. (The 51 day siege) The FBI had until February 28, 1993 to raid the compound because the warrant would then have been nullified so they proceeded to collapse the structure and they used tanks with flamethrowers attached, to burn the Branch Davidians to death. The FBI said that both Koresh and his aid Shneider had a suicide pact so they shot each other but then later the county coroner examined the remains and the report was released the following day which contradicted the FBI's story, Shneider was shot in the back of the head while Koresh was shot in the forehead. 21 Children including 2 pregnant women died by incineration. They died in the fire they were consumed by the fire orchestrated by Janet Reno and set by the ATF/FBI. United States Air ...
