The Curly Shuffle - Jump 'N' The Saddle's version
Jump 'N' The Saddle's version of The Curly Shuffle with Larry, Mo and Curly, those funny guys, the Three Stooges. Born: October 22, 1903 in Brooklyn, New York Died: January 18, 1952 at the age of 48 Curly Howard's real name was Jerome Lester Horwitz. He was born to Jenny and Solomon Horwitz on October 22, 1903 in Bath Beach, a summer resort in a section of Brooklyn. He was the fifth and youngest of the five Horwitz brothers. Curly's interest in show business grew as he watched his brothers, Shemp and Moe perform as stooges in Ted Healy's act. After Shemp left the Healy act, Moe suggested to Healy that his kid brother Jerome was available and would make an excellent replacement for Shemp. Curly at the time was known as "Babe." When Babe showed up to talk to Healy to join the act he had long wavy brown hair and a mustache. In order to join the act Babe agreed to shave off his mustache and shave his head. Now referred to as Curly, he joined the team and played with the Stooges in vaudeville acts and comedy shorts for MGM. Later, in 1934, Curly along with Larry and Moe performed in many of the shorts that were produced for Columbia Pictures. On May 6, 1946, he suffered a stroke during the filming of his 97th Three Stooges comedy, "Half-Wits' Holiday" (1947). In 1949, Curly's health took a severe turn for the worse when he suffered his second in a series of strokes and was rushed to Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Hollywood. Curly died on January 18, 1952. He was 48 years old ...

The Three Stooges: Moe larry curly "Swinging the Alphabet"
They are confused for college professors in "Violent is the Word for Curly By 1937, where Volume Two of this long overdue chronological collection picks up, Moe, Larry, and Curly had been performing together for over a decade, and appeared in several feature films and 19 short subjects for Columbia. They were just getting warmed up; there is nary a clunker among the 24 shorts on this two-disc set. Several rank in the Stooges pantheon, including "Grips, Grunts and Groans" (with Bustoff the wrestler), "Violent is the Word for Curly" (with "Swinging the Alphabet"), and "Healthy, Wealthy and Dumb" (the Stooges live the hotel high life after Curly wins a radio contest). These comedies must have been a great escape for Depression-era moviegoers, particularly the ones in which the rich are reduced to food-throwing goofs ("Three Sappy People"). For the Stooges, its not prosperity thats around the corner, but more often, con men on the lookout for "suckers" to swindle ("A Ducking They Will Go," "Playing the Ponies"). Reflecting Americas can-do spirit, the Stooges are nothing if not resilient. These shorts may find them down, but they are never out. The boys are ungainfully employed as Calvary spies ("Goofs and Saddles"), janitors ("Three Missing Links"), dog washers ("Mutts to You"), firemen ("Flat Foot Stooges"), traveling salesmen ("Saved by the Belle"), and vets ("Calling all Curs"). Curly hair tutorial- secrets to pretty curls
This is a video showing what I do to get my curly hair so curly. I use DevaCurl One Condition (forgot to put that in the video). I DO NOT USE SHAMPOO... just so you know. I now clean my hair with baking soda. I put about two tablespoons in about 24 ounces of water and put that in a water bottle and spray it all over my head (while scrubbing my scalp). Then I put apple cider vinegar over my hair... and follow with a good conditioner. Maybe one day I'll just use the apple cider vinegar and stop the conditioner. The gel in the video is LA Looks, I think number 8. I now use Suave gel because there's no alcohol in it. I also use conditioner to cleanse my scalp since baking soda can be a little drying. I use Suave Naturals tangerine I think it's called. Really cheap. I love any products from Devacurl, and I also like Aubrey Organics honeysuckle rose.

Curly kale with Smoked Sausages - Dutch/Netherlands
International dish #10. Jack gives you a taste of another country on his international series. Here is the recipe: Curly kale with smoked sausages (Dutch / Netherlands) Ingredients: 2 lbs. Kale 2 lbs. potatoes 2 ounces crushed oats or poridge oats 6 large smoked sausages 6 ounces of bacon strips salt pepper nutmeg Directions: 1 Clean the kale, strip off the stalk and vein together. 2 Chop roughly. 3 Peel and cube the potatoes. 4 Cook the kale and bacon together in a little boiling water, salted if necessary, for 10 minutes. 5 Add the cubed potatoes and the oats. 6 Prick the sausages, and place them on top of the mixture. 7 Cover the pan with a lid, and boil the mixture gently until the kale is tender and the potatoes are soft; this takes about 30 minutes. 8 Remove the sausages and bacon, and mash the potatoes and kale together. 9 Season as required, with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. 10 Replace the sausages and bacon, and serve with plenty of mustard.
