Many of you have already seen our tutorial for "No-Heat Headband Curls here... http Instead of using a headband on this one, we used simple socks! This is super easy to do, and the curls last a long time. I also like pin curls or rag/paper bag curls but they can take up to 20-30 minutes or more to put in. This takes literally 2 minutes to put in, and you can style the hairdo the next day in any number of combinations! I tied in the socks lower, because we are totally into the low curls lately... but you could roll them all the way up for more volumous curls up top. It is key to make sure that the hair is slightly damp {not wet} anytime you want no-heat curls. If the hair is too wet, it will not hold the curl as well. Aren't these ho-heat curl hairstyles so fun? Hey guys, I thought I'll vlog this hair experiment for you guys. It's not a hair tutorial. Just a product I came across and wanted to try out. I picked it up from my local Sasa store. It's a Japanese product called Goo Set. Cost about hk$108. That's over US$15 right? A little pricey. It's different from other hair styling products so I wanted to give it a test. I wouldn't say this is a MUST-HAVE product. It's quicker to just use a curling iron. Probably rate it 2 out of 5. I've tried sleeping with these on. They aren't too bad to sleep with but the curls didn't last very long either. Kind of like a gimmick product. Not really worth it. You guys tried it before?

I've been really consumed with school, but I'm finally done with my last final yesterday! I'm happy to start my winter break, and I'm happy to be back here on Youtube! I miss you all D; This is the hairstyle I that I wore in my "Sassy Classy OOTD/HOTD" video, and I've had several requests for it. I think it's perfect for many occasions (formal or not), but for the holidays and the winter season, it's even better! Since the curls are so voluminous, they'd look really cute when you have a Santa hat or a beret on! They're also pretty tight, so you can sleep on them and have pretty loose curls the next day (that's what I did :D). This is becoming one of my favorite curly hairstyles! Although, it's a bit more time consuming for me (30 minutes) because I have longer, thicker hair now. I used the graduated 1/2 - 1 inch curling iron from the Cortex 4 in 1 set from flatironexperts.com Here's the link to it: bit.ly It's best to use a curling wand because they'll give you more defined curls due to the fact that their heat settings are higher comparing to regular curling irons. For more fun and easy hairstyle ideas, please visit... www.cutegirlshairstyles.com We added a little flair in our Sock Curls Hairstyle tutorial a few weeks ago, and so many of you fans noticed and subsequently requested that we show you what we did! Fortunately, we actually filmed these Bohemian "Pancake" Braids that very same day, so here you go! We used the Sock Curls as the base for this hairstyle, or you can use the Headband Curls as well, but if you have not seen how to create those gorgeous "no-heat" curls, you can see it here... http Now, this braiding technique is so simple and we call the resulting braids are "Pancake Braids". My girls gave the name simply because the braids are flat like pancakes {kids are creative!}. So, you have my girls to thank for the name! You just create a normal 3-strand braid, braided loosely, and then go back and tug out the elbows in the braid {which flattens the braid} before securing with an elastic. In this hairstyle, we did two pancake braids from the front/sides and then brought them back and pinned them up to create this beautiful Bohemian look. Use a strong hold mousse while your hair is still wet, as the product will remain on the hair when it dries and will hold it better. Finally, a bit of spray while the hair is on the iron goes a long way! What if I don't need more volume? -Just don't be so concerned with pulling the roots up. Instead, pull them at a 45 degree angle from the head.
