Removes boosted stats 2) How to block Culex's physical attack? Just before it is his turn to start attacking, press A. Trust me, it is worth it even if he doesn't attack. The Boss battle theme from Final Fantasy IV, also known as Culex's Theme from Super Mario RPG, composed by the great Nobuo Uematsu. Complete with Swan staccatos! This video only took me roughly 9 hours! (That's short for me ^^;) Maybe it didn't seem as long because I didn't have to worry about the volume control as much. I would've posted this video up yesterday but I had to do more editing than usual, making sure the audio was "bit perfect" and seamless. Also, for your information, this is completely based off of the FFIV version except for the last 6 or so chords at the end, which I used the Culex version. Why? I thought it sounded better. Hidden in Monstro Town is an optional boss fight, and it is the most difficult one in the game, even surpassing the difficulty of the final boss. However, to access the sealed door, you will need the Shiny Stone; this is obtained in Monstro Town by trading Fireworks for it. Once you have it, head to Monstro Town and interact with the sealed door. The Shiny Stone will react to it and you will be able to enter. Here, you enter a mysterious dimension and are approached by Culex, Dark Knight of Vanda, who wishes to challenge Mario to a fight... ***** Boss: Culex [w/ Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind Crystals] As stated before, this is the hardest boss fight in the game. Culex is accompanied by four elemental crystals, and all five adversaries in this battle are capable of using very strong magic spells, a majority of which hit your entire party. Therefore, it is recommended that you equip your party properly before heading into battle, unless you want to make the battle a bit more challenging. If you have any Rock Candies, feel free to use them here. Hitting all of the Crystals and Culex for 200 HP is extremely useful. If you had the patience to obtained the Star Egg, it is very useful here as well. The Ice and Fire Bombs are useful, but the Water and Fire Crystals, respectively, are immune to them. culex - mosquito life cycle
Senior project, short 3d animation that explores complete metamorphosis of mosquito. That annoying (to the human ear) buzzing sound created by wing fraction of females is a love song to the vibration sensitive antennae of the male mosquito. Female lays the eggs, in 24 hours time the larvae hatch, larvae is active feeder and fully participates in a food chain as both, meal and hunter. Next stage is pupae, which is dormant, not feeding. Finally new generation of insects emerge. Females will have to feed on blood in order to develop the eggs.

FFIV Boss/SMRPG Culex Battle in Mario Paint Composer
This is a song I've always wanted to do in MPC, but decided against it... until now! It's already been done amazingly by Satoshilyish, but hopefully I was able to put my own spin on it. I used a tempo of 2952, and the original soundfont. It was pretty tough to do for a few reasons. 1, the instrumentation was a bit difficult to do the the best of my ability, especially on louder files and 2, I was trying to make it sound good, yet, have it be different than Satoshi's version. Well, hopefully you all enjoy it. :D

Well guys, I FINALLY have a version that I've tested to the point that it is ready for everybody to enjoy and with the right kind of difficulty curve. I still have a few things to do but they definitely won't cause any problems for anyone. Here's a battle showcasing the HARDEST boss in the game, there is no one even within a mile's distance of Culex in terms of difficulty in this hack. Even Smithy has a bit to climb before he can be as hard as this boss. However, if you beat him, you will get the best accessory in the game, which pretty much makes the wearer 'broken'. Problem is... you have to beat Culex first. This is a ROM hack of Super Mario RPG that shows off what you can do with the statistical, gameplay (battle system-wise aspects of this masterpiece constructed by the combined efforts of Nintendo and Squaresoft (now Square Enix) mostly, but also shows what you can do in terms of attack animations and other things. - Characters can go level up to Level 50 - All bosses and enemies' battle scripts changed - Character stats changed around and balanced. - Spells reworked with more appropriate names and different stats - All Enemy stats changed - Dialogue ...

Super Mario RPG LLG Culex Part 1
This is one of the hardest fights in the game: Unless you can time Rock Candies well (I obviously can't :\) you'll need to bust out your Star Egg after your candies are all used. Mario can't live in this fight at level 3. Peach with a saftey ring is the only thing that protects her from most of the crystal's moves, and Bowser with the Lazy Shell and Amulet gives him the overall best defense. Anyway, this is how the fight goes: Green Crystal: Uses Petal Blast which will kill an undefended Peach, but doesn't do anything against Bowser. Also dies very quickly and nothing to worry about. Red Crystal: A useless Crystal that has no move worth mentioning. Will die 3rd. Blue Crystal: This Crystal tends to remain high in FP for awhile but goes down 2nd. He has one move to worry about: Diamond Saw which does 16 damage (exactly enough so that an un-guarded physical attack by Culex will kill you). Other then that, it's only a moderate threat at best. Yellow Crystal: Last to die and most dangerous of the 4. Blast will deal 5 damage to you (as opposed to 0 or 1) and he'll also use Storm (24 damage, leaving you vulnerable to Culex's physical hit). Both of those moves will kill Peach as well. He'll run out of FP after a bit, but until then he's your #2 problem, next to Culex. Also, he has Boulder which will kill Peach (but do nothing to Bowser). Culex: Obviously the last to die, but has the only moves that cause a problem. Bracers and Energizers' effects will be removed by Shredder ...
Final Fantasy IV/SMRPG Culex Theme on Mario Paint Composer
This is one I've been working on for a while now. Some of people know it as the Boss Theme for Final Fantasy IV (FFII in Japan), while others (such as myself) know it as Culex's theme from Super Mario RPG. Either way, it's a cool tune. As usual, transitions are less than favorable (actually, no. While the first one does blow, the 2nd is pretty good.)
Culex level 3 (part 1)
No cheats or anything, not nearly as hard as smithy this is actually fairly easy with lazy shell. I did this on emulator instead of my snes becuase my saves randomly erase (batteries dieing) I might have used the fast forward in this battle too shorten to video. Me doing my lvl.3 challenge vs Culex. Got lazy with the music so just grabbed the normal game music and put it on repeat since you can't hear it in the vid and it's awesome. Ummmm I tried this battle about 5-6 times before I finally beat him, and then at the end my lucky egg ended up with the coins so I had to do it over again. Nothing exiting really but ya, ahah had to post this.
Super Mario RPG Boss Series - Culex
Ok so i had a save file on my flashdrive from before my harddrive wipe that was at the very end of the game so i decided to kill Culex. This fight is really hard for most people... i mean its hard but i have no trouble with it after doing it so many times. This is by far my quickest kill of him i completely blazed him with my rock candies as cheap as that seems why not use them he's the hardest enemy in the game. Also as for my equipment setup this is the best gear you can get aside from the attack scarf and the super suit the super jumps are so hard to do. I'll probally finish up my series pretty soon im going to beat smithy with this file but i play games off an emulator in my study hall at school and im just finishing up playing chrono trigger after i finish that i will kill the missing bosses on here. I might also redo this fight on that file without the rock candies just to be fair.

the ultimate boss in the game he is pretty damn hard with all 4crystals and him its like 12k hp combined anyway id say use geno boost first and use marios super jump on the green crystal then after that id say destroy the blue crystal next with super flame after that 1 kill the yellow crystal then the red culex will be open after that so just go all out on him peach = heals dont forget group hug is sooo good :D and they even put in the FF4 boss theme victory theme and main theme in this fight XD
