The Critic - S1E01 - Pilot
A short, balding, overweight, divorced film critic named Jay Sherman gets a second chance at love when a gorgeous actress named Valerie Fox (voiced by Jennifer Lien) falls for him, but it may all go to pieces if Jay doesn't give Valerie a glowing review for her latest movie, the Basic Instinct-inspired erotic thriller, Kiss of Death. The Critic is an American prime time animated series revolving around the life of movie critic Jay Sherman, voiced by actor Jon Lovitz, and it's ace. never seen eps of this on youtube so thought i'd add them. also, if i 'm doing anything wrong by uploading them, please feel free to let me know and i'll gladly delete them.

The Critic - Movie Parodies (Alien, Home Alone, Ahnud)
In the pilot episode, we were treated to three quick parodies right off the bat. Keep in mind this show was made in 1994, and how within the first two minutes, it already bares an incredible similarity to Family Guy.
Orson Welles in The Critic
Just put together some clips of how Maurice LaMarche portrays Orson Welles in this highly underrated show.
The Critic "Marthon Mensch" pt1
When the studio catches fire during Jay's show, he collapses and must be rescued from the fire by Doris. When the news reports Jay's being rescued, he gets a reputation as being a wimp so he tries to prove his manliness by running in the New York Marathon which tends to be more tiresome than it seems.
Mel Brooks The Critic
Mel Brooks is probably the greatest comedic genius that this world has seen. From the underrated Silent Movie to the hysterical 2000 Year Old Man the man's a god. Anyway I bring to you his short film that won him an Oscar back in 1963, Enjoy

The Critic-Eyes on the Prize pt1
Jay celebrates his 1000th episode but the episode is less than successful. Ratings get worse so Jay seeks image consultant, Adolph Hitmaker, for advice. The advice is unsuccessful and Jay is fired. Jay gets a new job on a show which teaches English for cab drivers but Jay is unhappy so he decides to win himself another Pulitzer Prize.
The Critic - Dukerella 1/3 (Subs: Spa)
Alice's sister, Miranda, comes for a visit; Alice suffers from a little jealousy because of Miranda's staton in life. Miranda is in New York to find a rich husband, and after a series of disastrous dates, decides to set her sights a little lower, by trying to get Duke Phillips. Alice is reluctant to bring Miranda along to the costume ball that Duke is hosting, but agrees when Miranda promises not to upstage her. Miranda is forced to disguise herself because of an unsightly wrinkle, and hits it off famously with Duke. Unfortunately, Duke wants to consumate the evening, but Miranda runs away rather than reveal her blemish to him; this leads to mistaken identity involving Doris. Jay sees the distress that this causes Miranda, and hatches a scheme that ultimately gets Miranda and Duke together.
