Epic creationist fails of our time -- #1

Another nominee for the coveted Golden Crocoduck braves the waters of science with the leaky boat of creationist ignorance. Note 1: In the video I show the Earth as it is today, and the location of the fossil Troodon and Oviraptor eggs in Montana and Mongolia. I described these as "opposite sides of the world." As a couple of viewers pointed out, the configuration of the continents was different in the cretaceous. However, the places where the different eggs were found are still what could be described as "opposite sides of the world." According to my "Atlas of Evolution", only a few degrees off 180 degrees, in fact. I wanted to use a globe representing the cretaceous, but couldn't find one. Creationists' First Time on the Internet

You'd think they'd learn, but you'd be wrong. Some people are having an audio compatibility issue that makes Bubba (the character on the right) silent. Most people don't have the issue, so I'm just going to leave the video online. I checked it on 3 different computers and it worked. It didn't work on my phone though. It's a mono speaker issue. Try stereo. Plug in some headphones or something. Sorry for the inconvenience. These are just characters. CHARACTERS. Don't take them too seriously. It's over-the-top for a reason. If you don't understand why some people find this funny (as I did when I made it), then you probably haven't been in as many debates with Creationists as we have. I admit, it takes certain experiences to find this funny. I've been a longtime subscriber of CultOfDusty. Creationists Fail Again

"Oops" ~Creationists We tried to tell them, but they just didn't listen. I probably should have pointed out that the Kepler telescope uses the transit method to find planets, which means it can't see the planet until it is "eclipsing" its star. In order for that to happen, it has to be at the perfect angle between us and its star. This means that Kepler is only capable of seeing a TINY fraction of the planets that are near us. That, too, greatly adds to the numbers of planets we can safely assume are out there. Ouch, Creationists...ouch. Kepler science chief William Borucki at the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Washington DC estimates that there are at least 50 billion planets in our galaxy with around 500 million residing in habitable zones. The data was extrapolated from Kepler's findings. I also drew a similar conclusion from the data, thus considered my video cautious and conservative. That's why I comfortably posted the video without fear of it turning into an exaggerated arsenic lifeform story, or a "missing link" story. Richard Dawkins: One Fact to Refute Creationism

Complete video at: fora.tv Biologist Richard Dawkins identifies what he views is the single most compelling fact to refute Creationism -- but states that the real problem lies in convincing Creationists to listen to the evidence. "What they do is simply stick their fingers in their ears and say 'La la la,'" says Dawkins. "You cannot argue with a mind like that." ----- Richard Dawkins' The God Delusion created a storm of controversy over the question of God's existence. Now, in The Greatest Show on Earth, Dawkins presents a stunning counterattack against advocates of "Intelligent Design" that explains the evidence for evolution while keeping an eye trained on the absurdities of the creationist argument. More than an argument of his own, it's a thrilling tour into our distant past and into the interstices of life on earth. Taking us through the case for evolution step-by-step, Dawkins looks at DNA, selective breeding, anatomical similarities, molecular family trees, geography, time, fossils, vestiges and imperfections, human evolution, and the formula for a strong scientific theory. Dawkins' trademark wit and ferocity is joined by an infectious passion for the beauty and strangeness of the natural world, proving along the way that the mechanisms of the natural world are more miraculous -- a "greater show" -- than any creation story generated by any religion on earth. - Berkeley Arts and Letters Richard Dawkins is a world-renowned evolutionary biologist and author. Creationists, This is Why You Haven't Changed My Mind || The Creationist Backfiring

This is a BRIEF explanation as to why creationists fail and why they will NEVER change my mind AS LONG AS they continue with their horrible arguments. If you are reading this description, please analyze that ^^ sentence before acting like I'm somehow admitting to being closed minded. I didn't explain every argument nor the (comparatively) best arguments that creationists put forward. My main message is simple. If creationists want to have a fighting chance at converting us have to stop using shitty arguments because shitty arguments is what drives people (at least me) AWAY from the creationist side, completely apart from the arguments from skeptical views. When it comes to me, the creationist propaganda has backfired.
